Cheap (in terms of how much protein you get, not saying quality is cheap).
I've been using this protein for the last two years (I've gone through maybe 4-6 tubs so far). Whenever I buy protein I always calculate protein per serving * servings per container / price and Colossal Labs has been winning the last two years. Extra notes: Bcaas: This protein has lots of bcaas (compared to other brands protein powders I've used). Solubility: I prefer the chocolate one as I like its taste better. The chocolate one is not easily soluble, so if you are looking for an easy mixing powder, this isn't for you. Method 1. Mix with spoon in cup of liquid (I use soy milk, altho water and milk works same). When placed in a drink, the best results I've found is put some liquid in the cup. Put a scoop over the powder. Then pour some more liquid over the powder. Mix slowly at first so dust doesn't fly everywhere. Then start stirring faster and scrape from the bottom / sides of cup and spoon to ensure all powder is being contacted by liquid. Then let sit for 5min, and comeback and stir / scrape. This time its ready to consume but when you drink it, if you swallow it'll just taste like a thick chocolate milk. If you chew, you'll taste really good chocolate chunks (texture reminds me of soggy oreos in milk). Method 2. Blend it. This actually breaks down well and the chunks are not present. I normally use a vegetable (like cabbage, spinach, kale etc) creatine, flax or chia seeds, various frozen fruit, soy milk, the powder and sometimes peanut butter and it tastes really good. It tastes really good, whatever fruit I add, say frozen strawberry, just tastes like strawberry ice cream (with a bunch of toppings). Taste: For method 1 I normally use cold soy milk and it tastes really good (texture like soggy oreos in milk). Also for method 1, you can use boiling water and get a hot chocolate, although I don't really like it like that. For method 2, I also like the taste. Last Note. I only buy this protein powder because it gives you the biggest bang for your buck. I used to eat protein powder by putting a scoop in my mouth and chewing on it, so generally I could care less about solubility. Additionally, although I like the taste of the chocolate, if it tasted like crap I'd still buy it. Protein powder is a supplement, not a treat. Use in combination with a good diet and routine and you should care less about factors of solubility or taste. Your main concern should be high protein, low fat/ sugar, and if your down to upgrade money wise, go organic (although I haven't made that move yet).

Transit Shippers need to be addressed on how to care these types of products
I only use GL products but have to leave this review, I'm not harping in GL, but the shipping department they used rough handle the product this time , mix all over the place when I opened the box and seal was busted when I took cap off. Shipping department needs to be address on how to care for this product during transit. GL should put Fragile sticker on these types of products for transit. I had to report and request refund for the product this time . I never had a issue before , but I can't use the product this time due to the seal being busted..

Good Value when Bought in Bulk (20 Pounds)
This protein tastes good, blends well, is packed with glutamine and branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) for good absorption for your muscles, and is very low carb. I just have one problem with the listing: When buying 20 pounds it shows that it's $1.75/ounce of protein, which is wildly inaccurate. I paid $140 for 20 pounds of chocolate whey protein from Goliath Labs, so here is the ACTUAL math breakdown. 16 ounces per pound x 20 pounds. That's 320 ounces of protein total. $140 / 320 ounces = $0.4375 per ounce. (rounded up to $0.44) So it's not $1.75 per ounce, it's $0.44 per ounce. This is what makes the bulk buy a decent deal. There are so many different protein powders on the market, but all I want is something that gets the job done, has minimal extra fillers (low carb), and still tastes halfway decent to drink. Goliath Labs doesn't have 15-20 different exotic protein powder flavors like some huge brands do; they have 3: Chocolate. Vanilla. Strawberry. They can't compete on variety, so what they have to offer is simple effectiveness and low price IF you're buying in bulk. I shop at Costco on the regular and I find protein that basically rivals the stuff Goliath Labs offers, but when I run the math it ends up around $0.47 per ounce and not $0.44 per ounce. So long as Goliath Labs beats the margins on the other competitors I come across while maintaining its simple effective formula, it will stay my go-to protein.

Great taste/But something's wrong
I am heartbroken. I have been using protein powders for my entire adult life. I've tried them all. I bought this for the value: great price and strong protein density (25g protein per 33.5 gram serving). And I fell in love with my first shake. Wow! The taste (Wonka Chocolate) is the best that I have ever had. Ever! No weird fermentation taste. Not chalky. No chemical aftertaste. Nothing. Just full-bodied chocolatey goodness. But an hour after drinking my first shake, I was hit with big-time stomach issues. I was bloated. I was gassy. It wasn't good. I have tried 3 more shakes since then and each time it's the same: flatulence and a super bloated feeling. I am no stranger to stomach issues due to my nutritional needs. I've tried every type of protein powder. I've been taking creatine since back in the day when it was processed to the consistency of sand. So I've dealt with my fair share bloat and such. But this is just over the top. It really makes me question what is actually in this powder.

Good stiff for the money.
Good taste, results as expected. Its protein, so all you can really state is about it tastes and how you feel. The chocolates are very good, not much aftertaste. Price is good considering since the last 2 years supps have almost went up 50% in price. Best of all this stuff doesn't turn me into a giant flatulent disaster.

Very happy with this protein!!!!
Great Product, Great Price. I've tried every protein out there, and you start to narrow down on price vs flavor. I took a chance and bought 20 pounds of chocolates, I am pleasantly surprised. Four small tubs of 5 pounds each, the typical 2 or 3 pound tub size, but actually filled to the top (weird concept huh) At this price, this just became my new favorite brand!

Buy the vanilla not the chocolate
The Vanilla was really good the Chocolate is good but you need over 1 hour for it to be drinkable with out chunks.... If you dont have 1 hour you might as well spoon it in your mouth and start chewing because its going to be that way if you dont have time..... I wont buy the chocolate again..... But if you dont make it early keep shaking it and a little over one hour you will have chocolate milk with small chunks..... Update: If your going to try this product google goliath labs..... You might be able to save a few bucks fast free shipping plus you can use paypal...... Do not forget the vanilla is really good the choc NOT..... chunky unless you use milk with it.....

Excellent taste, very satisfied...
I have tried another protein and this one definitely tastes very delicious. Now I have bought the Wonka chocolate flavor and I love it, although I am not a chocolate lover, this chocolate flavored protein definitely fascinated me. Its price is accessible and reaches 68 services. I can recommend this product... I hope that its quality and results are maintained. If necessary, I will update this opinion in the future.
