how much pressure does it take to push it in? Also if you use it to many times will it get stuck?

Bought this last Christmas for my youngest grandson. They are very safe. It takes very little pressure to push in the blade. All four knives are very functional. He plays with these knives constantly so I would expect at least one of them to malfunction. All are still fully functional.
