Quality construction
These stands are sturdy and well made. In an era where common practice is to cut costs by using cheap materials or manufacturing, it is refreshing to find a product that exceeds expectations. Everything from the thickness of steel to the quality of the paint job. Well done, Oteymart, well done.I would recommend this to anyone.

High price for what it is
It does the job, but it's over priced. I've seen it for much less elsewhere after I bought it. I feel I've been gouged on this because fitness equipment is hard to come by with all the gyms closed. After it's assembled, it has that $149 look and feel to it, not the $250 I paid.

You get what you pay for
Unstable/relatively flimsy squat stands for strong powerlifters. These would have been unacceptable during my younger/stronger powerlifting days.I use them for light squats (<350# & <315# bench presses/incline bench/decline bench presses.

Seems finicky, but holds....for now.
The metal isn't very thick, and everything is held in place by bolts and nylocks. After everything was assembled, I found there was a bit of play in the fastened parts. I tightened everything down a bit more to take away that slop, but I realized I had to tighten everythingto the point where the metal was starting to warp and bend. When fully extended for squats, the stands will move an awful lot when setting the bar back in place, which makes me a bit uneasy about putting a lot of weight on it. The little lower guard brackets are great, but at my height, they're either RIGHT THERE, by being just too short, or a smidge high. Given the price of actual power racks, I'd say these are fine, especially if you're not really power lifting and just doing some exercise. If you're thinking about putting 300 pounds on these, have an ambulance on speed dial.
