Glycolic Foaming Cleanser

I’ve been a regular user of this Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser, and it’s one of the best exfoliating face washes I’ve tried. It leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth, and refreshed without being harsh. I like to use it a few times a week to keep dullness away, and it really helps with uneven texture. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts quite a while.

Been using for a week, every other day as recommended. My skin has already improved so much in that short of time. Smoother, tighter, and overall glow. I've had great results with glycolic face wash in the past, but with a MUCH pricier brand, so didn't quite know what to expect. I'm happy I took a chance with this! I'll be buying other items from their line now!

I'm new to this line and loving the products. This foaming cleanser is luxurious. It is great for mature skin.

I have hypersensitive skin (I get rashes instead of regular breakouts) and I needed a chemical exfoliant. I also wear makeup everyday. This saved my skin, point blank period. I use it about every other day because I do get oily when I wear makeup, and I know my pores are STRESSED lol. It doesn't make my skin peel, and unlike other reviewers, it doesn't leave my skin dry. Just refreshed? And it's ridiculously soft afterwards.I seriously cannot believe this cleared up my blackheads AND reduced my hyperpigmentaion from acne scars in just 2 weeks. This stuff is freaking amazing.Packaging: 10/10I LOVE the packaging. It has a great little spout that's super hygenic. Like many busy adults, I’m looking for the most efficient way to get clear skin, not something that ties me up for over an hour each week and preventative. I also wanted something that is dermatologist recommended and doesn’t contribute to aging. This product hit all those notes. You only use 1-3 times per week, it’s pretty fast to apply and remove—can you really get more efficient? After a month of using it 2x a week I only have one acne nodule, and less acne overall (whereas I usually have a few more) and the pre-existing acne and spots have been SLOWLY clearing up. My skin looks more even in general. And in terms of aging, this is mildly exfoliating without any abrasion, which is great! I’d feel more comfortable with no exfoliation but without it I’d probably just be getting more acne scars.Although I am somewhat light skinned I do have pronounced hyper pigmentation and this has been helpful, although I can’t tell if it’s only because I have less acne surfacing or if it is also because it phases out the hyperpigmentation spots. I was hoping it would lighten the dark corners of my lips, but so far I don’t see a difference there.I don’t think this product is a silver bullet, but it is a great bang for your effort and great bang for your buck. I would recommend going by the directions, which say 1-3 times a week and depending on the skin type. Definitely moisturize afterwards and maybe protect your lips as you apply (I bite my lips constantly, I don’t need any more exfoliation there). I would use it at night, because it makes your skin sensitive to the elements, so ensuring some time between the wash and sun exposure is helpful, I think. I don’t know if this could replace an every day wash, but I’ve skipped my regular wash on the days where I use this product.

Great product with immediate results. The skin is deep cleaned and start exfoliating gently a day or 2 after.1 or 2 times weekly is plenty. A tiny dot does the trick.

This was recommended to me by a dermatologist to help me deal with some mild to moderate razor burn and bumps. He said the formulation will penetrate the pores and make the beard hairs more flexible therefore easier to shave. The glycolic acid also has anti-inflammatory properties so it helps clear up and prevent irritation.I can tell you it works well. After about two weeks of daily use, I get almost no razor burn and no razor bumps after shaving. It is mild enough that it doesn't dry out my skin and I get no redness like I did from the daily use of salicylic acid.High recommended.

Lathers well, keeps my skin balanced and healthy, and it has a pleasant lemon scent.
