How many square feet does this cover

I would say at least 150. Our bedroom is large, and it keeps the air wonderfully clean . I have breathing problems and this Levoit Air Purifier does a wonderful job. I would totally recommend it. The customer service is great , too.

Does this filter lead dust?

There is a California Proposition 65 lead warning on the outside of the box that contains the filters. I would not recommend these filters if you are concerned about lead.
