I just received and used this Chi 1875 hair dryer today and absolutely love it. I read many reviews before committing to a purchase and read that it doesn’t get hot enough, it lacks blowing power, and that the blue light is bothersome. Well let me tell you, the dryer just wasn’t for those folks. It dried my hair quickly with plenty of heat. I actually blow my hair with my head upside down and didn’t even notice the blue light. And looking at the light directly wasn’t uncomfortable at all. My hair is also typically frizzy from the Florida humidity and the hair dryer left my hair smooth and silky. HUGE improvement from my previous hair dryer. I highly recommend.

I have very thick hair and it has cut my dry time almost in half and has lots of power but doesn't tangle your hair. It is very light weight and easy to use. And is not very loud. And leave your hair soft and minimum frizz. Only thing is that it could use a longer cord (it is now April and it does not heat properly so it did not stay in the test of time had it from April 2025 this is now November 2025

Great small compact dryer. Not noisy at all, works well, I don’t have curly hair so I only use the narrow attachment. I love the design just wish it would get a little hotter but overall I love it for my shirt hair

Sometimes you wonder, is there really a difference between the cheap hair dryers you get at the drugstore, and something nice like this. I already own a Chi flatiron so when my old hair dryer finally gave out, I decided to treat myself to this one from the same brand. Wow! Just turn it on and you can feel the difference. Yes, it is better. Feels substantial but light weight, heat is distributed evenly and to the perfect temperature. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect temperature control and work well with the caps. I have very long locks and needed a dryer that would not burn my scalp and also dry my hair fast. Heat but not burn.

I have medium length, fine, color treated hair. After using the cheaper drug store brands that dried out my hair, even with leave-in products, I tried this one and what a difference it has made. The low speed is actually low enough to dry with a brush without frizz and tangles. The 3 heat settings are also a big plus. Love it!

I love this hair dryer. The light is nice but the best part is it’s not too aggressive or loud like every other hair dryer I’ve tried this year! Worth every penny.
