Can I purchase just the template and not the manuscript paper or is it a bundle?

It is a bundle...but the problem is that the template only fits one size of staff lines on manuscript paper which is the size that it comes with. If you use any other size the tool is useless.

Descriptions allude to all note shapes being represented. Are there indeed outlines for shape note composition?

If you are looking for early American shape notes, no. This template is basic modern music composition. It is very good for that purpose. It works great for simple and tidy composing of lessons for my students. However, I would like to see an alto clef included on this template, it would fit nicely on the treble staff just under the fermata, suggestion. Overall a good music tool.

is there one of these that will draw the staff lines?

I have not seen a template for drawing staff lines, but I have seen special pens for creating music staff with one stroke.
