Can you plug the light & the fan or magnifer at the same time?

No, each item plugs into a USB port and there is only one port.

What is the difference between this and the $29 version that does not say “Professional”?

The Pro version comes with a Lite Magnifier, and Drying Fan and Task Lite. The other version only has the Task Lite.

I'll admit it can be challenging the first few times. Just depress the white button on the front side and pull open.
