is this a #8 or #6. I need a front sight for the M17. Needs to be a #6

It must be used with the Trijicon rear sight. When used with the Trijicon, it's the equivalent of a #8. However, it doesn't match up with a Sig rear sight.

Does it fit M17 or will change point of impact?

It changes the point of impact. I bought it specifically for the M-17. It shot 4 inches high.

Does it fit the Sig P365?

yes most sig sights work with different models 226, 229 , 320, and 365 they all have to be shaved down before instal I use knife sharpening stone after 1000 grit paper. don't make too many passes just a few and test fit

Is this for Sig or Springfield?

I put this on a Sig p226 MK25, but I believe this can be installed on a Sig or Springfield XD models.
