Easy to install, good looking, does the job well

Bought cos I lost one of the little suckers. It was there .. then it wasn't. Been rigged out in a glarish jacket now and has a wrist strap to prevent it toddling off my itself. The upstairs one is wearing the other colour. Here is hoping no more searching like a crazy person is a thing of the past: Ripping the sofa apart twice. Huffing. Puffing.

It's a little big in length for a Amz 1st gen remote, but packed it in the bottom, diameter is fine and easy to slip on.

They are too big for the remote and it's the right remote control the 2nd gen with a mic button and without volume buttons

I lose my Fire TV remote in bed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, and I had jokingly and also out of frustration, said to my husband only two nights prior to ordering these covers, that I was going to get neon orange duct tape and cover the parts of the remote that weren't essential for operation. Then, while browsing Amazon for something totally different, I came across this product and some others. I learned while shopping for one of these silicone covers that I happen to have the 2017 version of Fire TV (First Edition, I believe), which made it easy to know which covers to choose from. You can easily tell the difference between the versions just by looking at your remote and the photo that's displayed, as well as the dimensions given. Good news is that I purchased the correct size 👏. My rating is based on the filling information: 1. Online, the colors appear to be very bright/vivid, however when I received them, they are not as bright in color as I expected them to be. 2. Fits over remote control perfectly, albeit a little like puyyomg a regular size condom on a horse LOL - but once you get it on for the first time, you're all set (until you feel like changing to a different color or pattern). There's a very small hole in the cover where the adjustable black wrist strap can be attached. All you need to do is fold the thin wiry part of the strap in half and push it through the hole, then push the rest of the strap through a makeshift loop that you just created. It's easy peasy!! 3.This 2-pack comes with each cover and wrist strap in their own individual package, which is nice if you're thing ahead of holiday gifts (ie: stocking stuffers to go with a new Amazon zfire TV gift...? Or just to buy ahead and stash it in your gift closet/drawers so that you always have something on hand. 4. I was somewhat disappointed with the texture and grip of my silicone covers. They're not as thick as I thought they would be, especially after stretching them over the remote control. The back does have a diamond-like pattern, for texture and I'm assuming to give more grip. Honestly it doesn't make a huge difference. The entire cover itself does make a difference though. FINAL THOUGHTS: I'm pleased with my purchase. These are affordable remote control covers that offer a good amount of grip, along with an optional wrist strap, in a variety of colors. I love that I don't lose mine in a plethora of blankets and sheets every night and that I can use the strap to actually hang the remote from one of my nightstand drawers knobs. I really wish that the orange cover that I am currently using was as bright in real life as it appears online. Oh!! I almost forgot - my package arrived on time and in good condition.

These go on the remote super easy and now I can find the darn thing in low light!! The tethers are pretty darn sturdy. I think folks that complain that they come off or break must really be ranking on them. They are so cheap that you could just get another one. The silicone cleans easily-none of that weird sticky residue some silicone has. I just bought another set and am going to get another set. Your remote doesn't slide off your lap with this on and that is most wonderful. I was so tired of looking for that remote!!! Great product, awesome price, quick delivery. Need I say more!

I wish I had looked closer at the pic as I thought it had the cutout for the 4K remote but it does not. It doesn’t really matter as in can easily press the on/off switch for the tv and the mute button through the cover. So far we aren’t having the daily round of “where’s the remote” question and the search, the color makes it easy to see. I hang the remote off the lamp using the lanyard, very convenient. I bought 4 covers for all 4 remotes, one remote has been dropped so many times the back cover was taped on but no need to worry it will fall off ever again with the remote cover.
