Jackery Explorer 500 v2 Portable Power Station,512Wh,500W AC

I recently purchased this in order to add lighting and some occasional music to a storage space that doesn’t have an electrical outlet and is a dead space for phone data. I charged the Jackery unit right away using its power cord when I unboxed it. I am not sure how long it took to charge the unit since I did it at night while I slept. It was fully charged in the morning and I slept about 7 hours. I brought the unit to my storage space and plugged in a surge protector with two USB ports in to one of the electrical outlets of the Jackery unit. I then plugged in 3 USB lights. Two of them to the surge protector and one to the Jackery’s USB port. All 3 functioned easily for over an hour and only minimally drained the battery. I then plugged in a CD player and played it for about a half hour by plugging it into the Jackery’s second electrical outlet. The unit easily handled everything I asked it to do. I have now used it for about 3 hours on differing days and am only down to 80% on my first charge. This unit was somewhat expensive but it did everything that I wanted it to. For me it is worth the money since it is highly portable and has the versatility to be utilized for electrical and USB power. I am highly satisfied with the unit so far. I will update this when a few months pass and I see how the battery is doing.

Jackery is known in the off grid community for making a very reliable product. I’m very happy with how this power bank is working. It works well with my solar panels. It lasts long enough to fully charge my electric skateboard several times. It lasts a long time. It feels like its high quality material. I already hd a smaller Jackery machine that ive used for several years now. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a similar product.

This is a very well-designed small backup battery. I use this as an Uninterruptible Power Supply for my Wi-Fi router and it works perfectly. During a recent power outage, it switched immediately to backup and kept my router working continuously for 24 hours. I have since purchased several more of these in different capacities for other key appliances in my home.

Just used this product for a weekend camping trip! I loved how fast the Jackery charges, but I will say that we found out quickly that if you aren't using the product, you NEED to shut it fully off, otherwise the battery dies relatively fast. We left two phones plugged in overnight with the Jackery turned on, so realistically, the phones were charging from 9:00 to 10:30ish, and by morning, the Jackery had gone from 97% when we went to bed to 42%. The second night we used it, we put it into power saving mode, which automatically shut it off after six hours, and then we only lost 10% of battery overnight. Other than that, this product worked wonderfully. We blew up two air mattresses and deflated them twice (blew up and deflated using power four times) and charged two phones two nights! Also loved that this battery is portable and able to be used silently in any space. It also charges very fast, from 18% all the way to 100% in under 2 hours.

I use this for short-term power outage due to storms. Use mostly for a light or two and WiFi routers/modem. Pros: Robust built and low height profile for under-desk storage; excellent display showing all necessary stats; many useful outlets - serving an array of devices; charging is super-fast with about 400Watt input power; Cons: Pass-through charging option would be useful even though I don’t need it for my use cases.

This was an upgrade to my old Jackery explorer 300. I like the LiFe battery chemistry and the screen is good in some ways and bad in others. I like that it will give me a countdown til charged/empty but I do miss the always on display of the 300. I had a hard time finding the 500 on amazon for some reason but I think it makes a lot more sense than the 300 since it is only a little more money. The 300 required a power supply to charge but with this one I can just hook a mains cable to the side and charge it completely in just over an hour. The only thing it is missing that the 300 had is that I can no longer charge it via USB-C. I have it connected to a 100w solar panel and I have not needed to charge it since the initial charge when I bought it. I use it primarily for charging LiPo batteries at the RC flying field.

Don’t recommend. Could not return it even though it was 3days from purchase. It did not work with the solar panel. So now stuck with a product that doesn’t work properly and I can’t charge when there is no electricity. Not worth the money. What is the point of having a solar generator that you have to use electricity to charge. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This thing charges fast, and works as advertised. Great for camping, which is what I bought it for.

I bought this and used it over a 10 day military Ex non stop. It functioned flawlessly with no issues in function at any time. I cannot recommend this enough. The pure Sine power delivery was a God send when needing to power medical equipment during an outage. Pro: VERY light for its capacity Easy to use Wide array of power delivery options up to 100W USB C Cons: No Bluetooth to app control (not the end of the world) Screen likes to turn off with no ability to leave the screen on

Works well, charges really fast from the wall. Took it camping for 3 days and it lasted the entire time charging 2 phones, speakers and lighting, aswell as a 120watt heating pad for about an hour of use. We only used 75% of the stations battery. Its lighter than previous models, charges from 0-80% in 1hr, has a 5 year out of box warranty and it says its expected lifespan is 10 years or 6000 cycles. In the future when I upgrade with a solar panel i plan to run more lights, a blender and maybe a fridge. Also considering a wind turbine for cloudy or stormy conditions.

Bought one for Starlink and one for computer in a different room. Get power outages occasionally up in Northern Vancouver Island. Just got them so no chance to test in real life yet. Worked well by turning power off manually though. Will give lots of time while powers out and peace of mind to switch to generator power if it's ever a longer period.

Good for phones and other small electronics. Purchased for kooltron campaign cooler. With fully charge last only 6 hours
