Yes, it will stay lit when you let go. It also has a lower light setting if you press it a 2nd time.

Q: How do I know the difference between it charging and it being charged

When you charging the torch,the blue light turn on,when it being charged,the blue light turn off.

Q: How do you turn off the sos function? i just charge it and i can't turn the off and get back to just the flashlight functions.

When you turn to SOS function,then press one time again,it will turn off.If still cannot turn off,you can contact us,we will solve it.Thanks!

Q: How many hours will the battery last on one full charge?

I've had it a year, and I just had to o charge it a couple weeks ago! I love it. I use it mostly to take my dogs out at night!
