He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Original Series [DVD]

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Original Series was pure nostalgia and a great bonus was that it's region free! Was an absolute joy to watch and great quality over its previous DVD releases. Well worth the upgrade. A must have for fans!

Currently, this is the most superior way to watch this classic show. It has the full version of Diamond Ray of Disappearance, including the missing Orko scenes. It’s a remaster with more vivid colors than the dvd sets, a MUCH sharper, and cleaner image. The audio and speed of the show has also been restored to the proper speed and pitch that it originally aired at.

Awesome to see He Man in HD. The quality is amazing you can see all the details of the art. And the audio is amazing as well. Must buy for any masters of the universe fan.

what can I say about this? This was part of my childhood introducing it to my four year-old daughter. She loves it takes me back!!!!

This release has The Power! Region free, subtitles, nice bonuses including He-Man and She-ra: The Secret of The sword and some documentaries. The series itself is a must for all the MotU fans and it is presented here in great quality.

Video quality on this release is very good. I'm very pleased. Looks better than an early 80's TV cartoon has any business looking. It's great to have the entire series on physical media in such good quality. Until next time....

Great item with fast delivery

The case, dvd, image quality, menus is perfect. The distribution company did a fantastic job. The only problem is, I didn’t realize how much this show sucks. I loved it as a kid, and wanted to relive my childhood a little… but wow… this show is awful as an adult. Anyway, if you are a fan and still love the show, you can’t go wrong with this set. It’s high quality and well put together!

This review is for the 2026 North American Blu-ray set. I've watched the "The Diamond Ray of Disappearance" so far. The picture quality is much better than the previous DVD boxset, with smooth movement, bright colours, and sharp definition. The speed seems to have been corrected as well. The only negatives I can think of right now are the unclear promotion of the HD upscale (I learned about it from Reddit, not from the packaging) and the greasy offgassing residue that seems to plague most modern digital disc releases. In my opinion, this is currently the best version of the original MOTU cartoon!

I can confirm that the blurays play in Australia, on a standard Region B player. I can also confirm that the picture and sound on these He-Man episodes is nothing short of remarkable. This is the best this show has ever looked on physical media, no question. I highly recommend this set for any fan of the cartoon. Don't hesitate, just buy it and you'll have the best presentation of this show to keep forever.
