I would like to respectfully disagree with the previous review. I have used the first edition of this book for years in replicating 1910s styles. It is an excellent step by step guide to drafting patterns for basic items of clothing from the 1910s and helps provide a very convincing silhouette.If you want to learn patterning as it was taught at the turn of the century, from an early 20th century perspective, it is definitely the book for you.

not very good, a book for the total beginner. most disapointing is the poorly copied pictures inside.
