InFocus IN102 Portable DLP Projector, 3D ready, SVGA, 2700 Lumens

I purchased this projector for use in church for all video presentations - including PowerPoint. The ease of set up and operation is great. The brightness of the display enables use even in a brightly lit room. The resolution is good enough for our use. Sometimes it would be nice to have better resolution, but for this price it is very good. I will be buying a new one very soon. The later model of this unit is already available and we will purchase this later model.

have been using this for 2 summers now as a movie night projector. Very nice. Makes a bright enough picture we can start at dusk. While setup about 15 feet from the screen, it fills a 100 inch screen. Source is a normal DVD player, there is no HD involved so no comment on that. Have also used this with a computer VGA and works fine for that purpose also. The adjustments a re more than adequate, being able to correct for key-stoning- [ Keystone correction is needed to make a normal rectangle picture when projected from above or below the center-line of the viewed image]. Being able to adjust one leg compensates (mostly) for when the unit is not on a level surface to begin with. A small nit-pick. this unit has a curved upper surface, likely to deter people like me from putting other items on top. The curved surface deters that for sure. Very happy with this unit and would recommend to others.

I bought this projector primarily for use with a computer to do power point presentations. It has a really nice resolution of picture that can be used as close as 3 feet. The only thing it doesn't have is the pointer to make the slides move forward. BUT get a wireless mouse (around $10)and it will do the same thing. You can hook it up to speakers and a DVD player and watch movies. Not in HD, but really nice picture.

Not as small as more expensive ones, but for those who don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a great projector if you can still find it. It's bright, lightweight, and comes with a soft case. I use if for meetings and it's does a great job with PowerPoint presentations.

This projector small, lightweight and is easy to use. The display is bright, clear and easy to view for presenting to a good sized group in a 30' x 40' room. The SVGA format is more than adequate for typical presentations. It is easy to set-up and a great value for the price.

Everytime I use the projector (wich is not much) the lamp seems to fail and the machines turns off for a couple a minutes.

I have used InFocus for many years professionally. I was amazed when I researched and compared it to other projectors. This shipped quickly, great packaging, and so easy to hook up. I love that it come with a carrying case and it was so easy to use. I love this projector!

I did not get the remote control. The projector is very good. but there is no remote control ... this is bad.

Came punctually, but no instruction manua. I fitted it together with my Dell laptop. The projector worked but the laptop screen was blank. Finally I rang the InFocus support numbers and, amazingly, got straight through to a live, helpful agent in the Netherlands. He told me what to do. Click on the Fn key and the F8 key at the same time, and the laptop screen comes on too. So far so good.
