ZWILLINGPro 4.5-Inch Steak Knife Set of 4

I was hesitant to pay $50 per knife but decided it was necessary. You definitely can tell the difference between Henckles we had previously and these. Zwilling made in Germany vs Henckles made in China. The Henckles tarnished quickly. There is one Zwilling that started tarnishing and the tip barely bent dropping in the sink and left overnight I assume. Normally all are washed and dried by hand.

These are great steak knives and wonderfully sharp out of the box. Time will tell how long they stay sharp and how easy it will be to keep them sharp.I've used them on a variety of foods and they performed flawlessly.They live in my travel trailer so I will need to purchase more for my home as well.

Great quality blade and well designed handle

I cringed a bit buying 8 of these steak knives because of the price. But, these knives are nothing short of awesome! They are super sharp and glide right through anything. We bought these as lifetime knives and never plan to replace them. We replaced our old serrated steak knives and glad we did. These work so much nicer with the sharp straight blade. We bought other Zwilling Pro kitchen knives too, including the 8" chef knife, 4" pairing knife, and 5.5" knife. Zwilling Pro is all I am ever buying in the future.

These steak knives are probably sharper than most people's chef knives, and they stay sharp forever. They're obviously made from very high-quality stainless steel. They feel like something I'll still be using in 50 years.I'm just not sure that they need to cost $60 each, when they feature such a plain design without any expensive wooden handles or other exotic materials.

Everything about these knifes are so much better than our Cutco steak knives. The quality can be seen and felt when holding the knife. The handle is comfortable and the blade feels sturdy and sharp. I am going to start replacing all of knives with Zwilling Pro.

What a difference between this pro series and their next line down (which is also good). I am incredibly happy with these knives. In fact this was one of a series I bought to make the whole set.
