Good Part. Easy to install.
The part was easy to install. Looks to be a quality part. To get the old one off you just need to press the metal tab on the middle of the bracket away from the part then it slides off easily. The clips you just press in and pull on the connectors. Took about 10 minutes. Cannot speak to the longevity of it since we just put it on, but the car seems to run slightly better at idle. The old one wasn't fully closing. No check engine light. Replaced it just to be sure. Sometimes these can cause a no start condition when they go bad or a rough start. To check if yours is bad just remove the top connector on it, start the car when it is cold, and should not be sucking any air. If it is sucking air when you start it then it's bad. Let it run several minutes if you do not feel any suction and then it should open up and you should feel a decently strong suction. If it never opens up then it's bad. If it does open up then it's good. If the car is trying to start and fires up but immediately dies then you can put your finger over the hole on top and have someone try to start the car. If it starts and runs with your finger over the hole then you know it is bad. If it still doesn't start this probably isn't the problem. These tend to get clogged up over time with carbon and can get stuck open or closed when they fail. They can also not open or close all the way and that is going to lead to rough starts or poor running conditions.

2011 Chevy Malibu , Car rpms where shifting up and down Almost wanting to turn off and gas wouldn’t fill way pump with out having to play with it , with a Code P0455, installed new part and its cleared ! Drives Good now easy to install and fit perfect

My 13 Chevy HD with gas cap light Everytime tank filled. No check engine code. So, I asked Google and suggested to replace purge valve,which I did and do far,no issues. I'm a girl and did it myself. Easy fix!

aftermarket trouble on the old 2009 avalanche
failed after 5 months. Truck would not start after fill up. Thanks to google I was able to press accelerator 100% while cranking to purge fumes; it then reluctantly started. I guess authentic GM parts from now on.....

Pues hasta el momento sigue trabajando van dos meses, yo tenia el problema que en mi malibu 2006 despues de cargar gasolina este batallaba en prender. Investigando encontre en un foro que era esta valvula la del problema. La cambie y problema solucionado.
