Purchased these to make custom leather keychains as gifts. Overall they worked great. It is a little difficult to separate them to put items on the key ring.

I love everything brass! They match my keys perfectly! Super easy to open! They’re not too thick so they won’t make your keys or anything else bulky. The size is 1 inch. Overall, I think they’re amazing and worth the money!

Hard to open but that's not necessarily a bad thing
These are great rings. They're flat and thin so they aren't as bulky as other split rings I've seen. The finish matched my antiqued charms perfectly. The only drawback is they are VERY hard to pry open. I ended up having to use a paint can opener to spread them wide enough get the charms on and then again to hook them onto my bag. But I reckon that means they aren't liable to come open by themselves.
