Lee Precision 50 Beowulf Very Limited Production 4-Die

Good die set. They work good. Reloaded 50 rounds without issue. Only 250 more to go.

I have many Lee dies and these are perfect for my Beowulf. Easy to use and adjust. The price was great.

The setup was simple enough. Everything worked as it should. My only struggle was seating FTX bullets without compressing the flex tip. Outside of the flex tip, I had no other issues and even managed a workaround. It would have been perfect if I were loading FMJ, JHP, or Brass bullets. I am sure it was a user issue and not the die.

As always Lee Precision delivered precision quality!! All four dies preformed as designed and had no issues. I reloaded my first 200 rounds of 50 Beowulf without any problems. So I thought back to some of the negative reviews I read about 50 Beowulf Lee Precision dies and shook my head and said to myself let me share something. First thing I do is spray them with Hornady’s gun and dies cleaner; the one with the black label. Then let it dry a minute or two. I use Hornady’s Unique case lube, the one in in the white tube. I find it works best; even better then the Lee brand case lube! But I have never had a problem Lee dies, ever!!!! And I’ve been reloading for 20 years with Lee Precision dies!!!! Now my 50 Beowulf rifle that I custom built never goes hungry!!!!

Great buy. Chamber well (problem with this caliber) Loading block suggested for this caliber tight tolerances on some barrels.

Lee are not my favorite, but they are hard to beat the price. This particular die is the only one I know that is manufactured for the Beowulf. One thing I do like about Lee is they usually include a 4 die set, and a shell plate holder. While that seems trivial, it can be nice when I'm switching back to my single stage and don't feel like finding the correct shell holder (it's already in the die set). It seems to run pretty well, though as I've stated in a comment else where, there seems to be an issue with Alexander Arms brass. Occasionally, it will get burrs that have to be filed off before it will fit in the shell holder. Anyway, 2/3's the price of other vendors with extra's included. Hard to beat.

Typical Lee dies. Good quality and price point. Not much else to say. Not real sure about the sellers “very limited” title though. Seems like a shady business practice.
