Excellent stopping power!
I installed these rear (and front) pads on my 2007 Passat. They are an exact fit and they provide outstanding stopping power...better than OEM. Some may not like the initial "bite" of a semi-metallic brake pad, but I think this is how they should feel. The original pads are semi-metallic. These pads have a good bite and they will stop you very quickly and smoothly using only moderate pedal pressure. I don't know much about the brake dust these will produce, but I am really not concerned due to how well they stop the car. All brake pads produce dust, and I would rather not trade better performance for less dust. I was concerned about the lack of reviews for these pads, but I can highly recommend them! If you want pads that will stop you quickly and confidently, you will like these pads.
