Dentek Floss Picks, Sensitive Gums Comfort Clean, 150 Count, Pack of 3

This is essentially very similar to "DenTek Fresh Clean Floss Picks, For Extra Tight Teeth" except it is much more comfortable to use as it is less likely to cause any damage or bleeding to the other floss picks of the same brand. However, it does come at the cost at being slightly more prone to shredding. I haven't found this much of an issue however. As even with some shredding, it still gets the job done. It also works great for tightly packed teeth. It's also easy to use and the flosses flexibility allows for it to bend around the tooth which can mimic the performance of traditional flosses unlike the more rigid kinds which struggle flossing the whole gum. Essentially, if you have very sensitive gums and/or very tightly packed teeth, then I would highly recommend floss.

These used to be fantastic. I was a loyal, happy customer for years. Now, all of a sudden, they are awful, and my mouth *hurts* after using them once. It used to take one to do my whole mouth. Now it takes at least 6 to do my whole mouth, and it is painful and frustrating. So much for "Sensitive." The product did not change its packaging, name of product, or give any warning of a change in formula. They just snuck it in like sneaky sneaksters. Disingenuous business practices. Shame, Dentek. Shame. Now, not only does the tape snap back and cut my gums if it doesn't just break, but it shreds between every tooth, even the ones that aren't a tight fit, often leaving shreds of floss stuck between my teeth. Had to use tweezers. Scary. The new sound and new texture make me cringe. If I don't want to have to wash my hands to get out more, I needed to leave out at least 8 to be sure, and even careful, meticulous use still caused me injury. They changed their formula and didn't tell us. They didn't even change their packaging. Disingenuous. Oral B also made this move, and they were what I used before Dentek (and tried to go back to, which was also injurious). I'm not against getting rid of forever chemicals in general, but this is sudden, and I was not informed. It is interfering with a long-planned dental procedure that is hazardous to my health to postpone. And I'm in pain from the flossing. The packaging looks the same. I had no warning after years of use. Now, all of a sudden when I need them most, I'm throwing all the money I don't have at other brands of floss that also changed their formulas to be unusable and more dangerous to me than the forever chemicals themselves. Our corporate structures are out of control. We have no say in our health, our options, our protections, or our opportunities anymore. Good luck, everybody. We are going to need it.

I keep a pack in my kitchen, my car, and my desk at work, so that should tell you how much I rely on these. The thickness is exactly right. Not so thick that it won't fit between your teeth, but not so thin that it's useless. The floss itself is a thicker, waxy type with some actual friction to it, so it really gets into the gum line instead of just sliding past. The toothpick end on these is also a good size and shape for getting the bigger food bits out. Mint flavor is nice too. Not overpowering, but enough that you feel refreshed and more confident in your hygiene after using one. Simple product, but I won't use any other floss picks.

Having been a Dentek customer for years I am surprised at the change that was made to these floss picks. The new "floss" tape is of a completely different material. The new packaging claims it to be "sleektek". Nice name but a complete disappointment. On first use I noticed a loud click sound when removing the flosser from each tooth. After 3 teeth I noticed that the material was shredding and separating into thin strands. Then upon further attempts to floss the strands then started to break off and stick between my teeth. I actually had to use tweezers to remove some of them. I compared the new flosser to the older product (I still had a few left from the old bag). Very different. These flossers are useless and possibly dangerous to use as the strands stick in between the teeth and are hard to remove. Unfortunately I had purchased them in March and since I still had a half bag of the older product I didn't open them until the return window had closed in April. After realizing that the new flossers were unusable I contacted Dentek directly to voice my opinion and disappointment. The customer support person was very nice and asked for the product code from the packaging. I was then asked how much I paid for them and was offered a complete refund of my purchase price. All in all a very pleasant customer service experience. My problem is that I now have to try to find a new brand of flosser for my needs. I imagine I am not the only person experiencing this disappointment with this product. Maybe if enough customers call and complain about the new floss material the company might return to the original tape or come up with a better material. One can only hope. If they return to the old tape material I will come back as a customer. Otherwise I will have to change to another brand.

These are great picks if you have trouble getting a toothpick between tight fitting teeth. The floss is wide which is more comfortable than the thin floss. I have been using this brand/style for over 15 years. I love them. At almost 72 yrs old, I’ll have picks left over for my family members! 😂

Excellent toothpicks since are not sharp on the edges and rarely break. We have bought these for several years.

I have purchased the dentek triple bag package a few times, and have been very happy with them, I actually told my whole family about them! The floss material used was smooth, soft, and held up for all my teeth with one flosser. This last purchase for some reason the floss material has changed. The new floss is sharp, shreds apart after 2 or 3 teeth, leaving little strands stuck in my teeth, and breaks. Thought maybe it could be a problem with a select few, but after trying multiple flossers from multiple bags, seems like dentek changed the floss material to a much cheaper inferior material. I would not recommend to anyone anymore; I will be throwing out these 3 bags and look a different brand.

Not the DenTek product I’m used to, as they’ve changed this product recently. They shred easily. My teeth are close together, but the DenTek I’ve been used to always worked flawlessly. These, I have to use two for one session.

Not only is the price very competitive but the products are good quality … always a good buy!

These are really good floss sticks, I’ve been using them for years, they are very sturdy but also gentle on the gums.
