Beautiful Quality Guitar!
I had looked at these for a while and finally decided to buy. The natural butterscotch finish is flawless. The neck is very comfortable to play. No complaints on the fretwork. The MFD pickups give a very clear full sound. You definitely need to roll off the tone slightly. The neck pickup is very clear and great for playing rhythm. It sounds good, clean or crunchy. The pickups are the same as the more expensive version and are made in USA.

well made guitar at a good price. I like the way this guitar looks
Solid, well made guitar at a good price. I like the way this guitar looks, sounds, and feels. It is everything I expected in a Tele style axe. A real tribute to Leo's timeless genius.

Awesome guitar!
This is my first “new” guitar purchase after years of buying used from friends, Craigslist, eBay etc. The price was exactly were I wanted to be for my level of playing experience. I am blown away at the feel, look and sound of this guitar. I waited 6 days for it to arrive and after unboxing it, all needed to do was tune the low E string up a half step. The intonation is spot on, neck relief perfect and the action was set at 1.75mm low E to 1.5mm on the high e string, again perfect for me. High gloss maple neck, brass saddles. Will be looking at G&L when buy my next guitar.

Great Guitar
I have played guitar since the '60s. I had my doubts about purchasing this Indonesia made a guitar. Well, I was blown away with the guitar. It is beautiful. It needed no setup...the intonation and action were spot on. Someone over there knows what they're doing. The fit and finish are excellent. I haven't played this in a band yet....but it sounds at low volume better than my Fender Tele Deluxe.Very impressed.....and highly recommended.

Great Neck! Great Tone!
Hi! I've owned this G&L Tribute ASAT for about 3 years now. To me the neck feels great and gets better the more I play it.The MFD pickups are more meaty than a typical T-Style sound. The neck sound is warm and jazzy and when used with overdrive sounds nice and purry to very overdriven. The middle position is perfect for funk and country and chimey pop rhythm. The bridge pickup is strong and perhaps a bit sharp to me but this is where one can get much more aggressive rock tone or really chicken-pick twang. I may swap it for a Tele Humbucker in a single coil space from Seymour Duncan.I find getting bends and vibratos quite musical. Also with three note chords or even full chords I can do a violin style vibrato making the chord shimmer and coupled with delay makes a nice effect.Playing this guitar took some time to get used to the bridge, coming from a LP style guitar a long time ago. This guitar taught me to play better. Be more precise with my timing. Work on your technique and this guitar will reward you. The type of pick you use makes a big difference in tone with this guitar. I use a Jim Dunlop Nylon .85 darker tone, .60 for faster rhythms brighter tone, .46 fast funk rhythms and even brighter tone, thinner sound and a Jim Dunlop Heavy Celluloid Tortise Color and play it from the side for more Tom Petty / Sheryl Crow songs.I had mine set-up and added a bone nut.I also like the individual saddles and individual adjustment of the pickups. Can really dial it in to your taste.Overall I think G&L is making amazing instruments.

I LOVE LOVE this guitar. Worth every penny
What a great guitar. I did not buy on Amazon though. Their are A LOT of variations on the Tributes and not all of them are that great... this one is. Be on the lookout for glossy necks (like this one) as the satins seems to be setup and finished quite poorly (I had one). Also, the 'bluesboys' don't have these killer pickups. The fit and finish is perfect on mine. I LOVE LOVE this guitar. Worth every penny
