Would a size small fit a boy who wears a kids large 10/12?

Don’t know. He could just wear a little big. I know I gave shirts to my grandsons that were big and they still wore the t- shirt. If all cotton would probably shrink some.

what size should i get for a girl who usually wears a medium in womens?

A medium or large. Guys shirts are normally one size bigger( ie. a medium in womens is a large in mens), and the sizing for this company fits like that. So if you're looking for something more form-fitting get a medium. If you're looking for something more loose, get a large.
