Don't know if my rear seat is a GTW or not, but installed one under my rear seat. Very easy

Will this work with a double take max 5 rear sit kit on a club car ds 2004 iq

Don't know for sure, but look up under the back step on you rear seats and see if you see 4 holes. Two on the outer lip and two more back in on the inner cross brace. Then it should fit.

I'd like to know the outside measurement between the upright brackets that bolt on please?

Don't exactly understand the question, since there are measurements displayed in the pictures on the listing. But the measurement on the front mounting bracket from side to side is 7-1/2" across.. From the outside of the front bracket to the outside of the back bracket, I measured 10-7/8". That is not exact. That is the best measurement I could get.
