Works for me
I bought two of these (32ft). One to extend a camera to a PC and the other to extend an audio interface (Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre for those that would know what this is) to the same PC. The PC runs a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and OBS recording software for the purpose of creating lessons. USB has natural length restrictions, and I was worried that there might be signal degradation and the original cables for the devices would not reach the PC. The only remedy was to try an active USB extension. I have everything connected and have done a preliminary test. The test was recording a video stream on one cable and MIDI data and audio on the other cable while providing back to the AI, audio and MIDI digital data. Everything seemed to work fine and recorded fine on the DAW and OBS. I haven't actually done a full-fledged recording yet to know for sure, but up to this point it seems to work and serves its purpose well. Interesting though, apparently, the computer still provides power to USB port while it is powered off, but the power not disconnected. I believe the motherboard still pulls some power in while it is shut down to keep things like the BIOS, etc. setting intact. When the power goes out totally, the BIOS is reset to default. Because of this, the USB port on the PC provides power to the cable and there is a little blue light that continues to stay lit. When I look into the room dark, I think I have left something on. I have a couple little blue lights lit up glowing in a dark room. Not a problem though or negative to me. Unless it proves differently in the near future, the product seems to be of good quality and works as stated.

Reliable Long-Distance USB Extension — Works Great for Streaming Setups
I used the MutecPower 50-Foot Active USB Extension to run an Eagle Eye Cube camera from the front of the room to the back sound booth for livestreaming — and it worked exactly as needed.Even at that distance, the signal held up with no issues, and I was able to maintain full resolution from the camera without lag or quality loss. The active extension clearly does its job boosting the signal, and setup was simple — no extra power or repeaters needed.Bottom line: If you're moving a USB camera or similar device a long way across a room for streaming or AV purposes, this cable is a reliable solution.

Great for Oculus Quest
I was very skeptical ordering this as the quest can be picky with what cables it can use. But to my surprise it worked flawlessly. The image looks great even with another 15 foot usb C cable attached to it, and I have had absolutely no stability issues, crashes, or stuttering in games. It comes with an external power brick to boost the power output at the end of the cable, and while it won't charge the quest while playing, it will significantly increase its battery life (8 or more hours), although you don't need the power cable for it to work if your ok with having to recharge the quest once it dies. The build quality is merely OK, nothing more, nothing less. The cable is thick and made of a rubber and the extenders are made of a semi cheap plastic. I saw another review saying that the casing for the extenders popped off which I can definitely see happing. As long as it isn't abused or stepped on, I think it will hold up for quiet a while. Compared to alternative methods like a fiber optic cable, or buying an expensive Wi-Fi 6 router, I would definitely recommend this cable as it is significantly cheaper than other solutions and performs just as well.

It just works, should you need it
I needed to relocate my tower from beside my desk to the server rack in the closet. Why have PC's scattered all over if you can rack em up?I digress. To make this happen I needed to have a USB hub on my desktop for my keyboard, mouse, microphone, Focusrite USB audio interface, and other misc items. This needed to connect to my racked PC which required going up the wall, across the ceiling, and back down in the server closet which required a bare minimum of 29' with no slack. 35' was perfect, but this 50-footer was the closest I could find and for the money, couldn't be beat, assuming it worked.Well, it works, and works well. I have it plugged into one of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports on the back of my Asus Crosshair VIII Hero X570 and on the other end is an Amazon Basics 7-port USB3 powered hub. Everything just works. My Elgato HD60 has no issues running through it while monitoring over my Focusrite Scarlett, typing and clicking away.Unlike some others, I have had no issues with having to unplug-replug to get things to connect. Been using it daily for almost two weeks and have had no problems what-so-ever. If you are needing to sling USB a ways away, this cable works great.

Worked
Needed it to plug in a USB drive 30+ feet away. Was easy to plug in, run the cable and use. Unless it fails. Don t think I will ever think about it again. No noticeable speed problems or connectivity issues.

Perfect for use with the Sony PS5
This cable is perfect for wired controllers when used with the PS5. I have a ThrustMaster racing controller and being able to sit across the room and still use the controller is great. Responses are crisp and accurate, just like when the controller is plugged directly into the PS5.

It's compatible with all my astrophotography gear!
This was purchased to extend USB 3 from an anti-mosquito enclosure to my imaging platform. Comments at other sites suggested active USB 3 cables can be problematic with astrophotography cameras and other devices used while imaging. All of my USB 3 gear, including a Pegasus Powerbox, Pegasus Focuscube, ASI CCD camera and ASI guide camera functioned perfectly using this cable. NINA (popular imaging software) connected with all (including the USB 2 mount) and downloaded 57 images along with a stream of guide images without fault. This cable is great!Mechanically, this is a heavyweight cable, nice and solid if a little on the stiff side. The connectors are high quality and secure. One important note! Be sure to supply power to the cable. I didn't test it without a power source, but I think if you want 100% success you'll want the cable powered. (FYI The cable-end connector is a 3.5x1.35mm jack, center positive.)

Excelente funcionamiento
