Performs great!
I purchased this for my office desk phone and soft phone, and I've not been disappointed. It switches easily between phone and computer, and I love how comfortable it is to wear (I use the over-the-ear piece) and that I can still hear what's going on around me. It's easy to put on and take off, and the fact that I can walk around while on the phone or listening to Spotify is so nice. Great sound quality, no glitches. I got one on recommendation for my former job, and I missed it so much I had to get a new one. Works great for Skype or other soft phone applications.

This is a great headset for a standard office telephone set
This is a great headset for a standard office telephone set. Works with VOIP too. Range is all the way down the hall and clearer than the handset that's wired to the phone. Lots of battery time too. I wouldn't use it as a call center rep, but for a "regular guy" in the office, it is outstanding.

Comfortable, but Poor Manufacturing Quality
I’ve bought 5-6 of these headsets for my team who spends a lot of time on the phone with customers. The headset comfort is very good, the battery life is reliable and good range when away from your desk. However, we’ve had a fraying issue with the connection cord from the headset base unit to the computer (see photo). This issue has occurred with 3 of these phones and 2 of them had been in use for less than 3 months. As a result of the frayed wires, the phones have some static at times negatively impacting the sound quality. I expected better performance from this product.

Reliable Performance with Notable Comfort
The Jabra PRO 9450 Mono Midi-Boom headset is a top-tier choice for professionals who require a dependable and comfortable solution for unified communications. Its wireless design ensures freedom of movement, while the midi-boom microphone provides clear, crisp audio, which is essential for both phone calls and conference meetings. The headset's noise-canceling feature effectively minimizes background distractions, enhancing focus and productivity.Comfort is another strong point of the Jabra PRO 9450. The headset is designed for extended wear, featuring an adjustable headband and a cushioned ear pad that reduce strain during long periods of use. The simple and intuitive controls on the headset allow for easy management of calls and volume without needing to access external devices. On the downside, the headset’s mono design might not be ideal for those who prefer a more immersive audio experience or who need to block out all external sounds. Additionally, while the wireless connectivity is generally reliable, some may experience occasional signal drops depending on their environment and distance from the base station.

Repeat user
As a telecommuting nurse working in a virtual call center capacity using a Cisco IP phone, I was provisioned one of these to use by my employer and it was GREAT. I would put it back on the cradle for charging during documentation time and then put it back on for the next call. It has great noise reduction and a good range so I could walk around while talking with clients and not be tethered to the desk. After 3 years the battery finally gave, and I broke it when trying to replace the battery, so I was given a different brand to replace it (Plantronics) and missed the convenience of Jabra terribly. So when I changed jobs and needed to pay out of pocket for my own USB wireless headset (because it's my choice to use wireless) just for Lync meetings, the choice was a no-brainer. I went back to the tried-and-true.

Not reliable; worked for a while then quit
Worked great for a week - then stopped working. No sound at all.

How did I function before this?
I get a lot of phone calls at my work. We have a Yealink phone through Verizon, and it took a bit to figure out I needed an adaptor between my phone and the headset, but after getting that figured out, it has worked like a champ. It's easy to take calls even if I'm not at my desk. The sound quality is good and it's very easy to use. I wish there was a better piece to wear around the ear without the headgear, but it's just too big and bulky to make it work well. After I resigned myself to using the headgear, it works just fine.
