Great Rain-Freeze sensor, but buy the Solar sensor instead!!
This Rain-Freeze sensor is a great upgrade for my Hunter I-Core Controller; however, after buying this, I now know, I should have bought the Solar-Rain-Freeze sensor.TIP - The mistake I made is thinking I understood what Solar meant in the title of the better sensor - the Solar-Rain-Freeze sensor does NOT have anything to do with solar power, instead Solar refers to its ability to connect with internet weather sources providing temp and humidity etc info to better save water.

Reliable sensor and receiver
Hunter has an awesome sensor and receiver to shut the sprinkler water off after rainfall. Exact match to my failed receiver which lasted 12 years. The actual rain sensor was replaced once during the same 12 years.

Great Wireless Rain Sensor
I love the fact this rain sensor is wireless. My wired one was chewed up my rodents or rabbits. Maybe the latter.This sensor works well in the rain and dries uo perfectly. It integrates with my Rachio Sprinkler Controller and compliments it well if the weather predictions are inaccurate.

Very easy to pair with my Hunter system. Easy mount to gutter. Connects pretty quick and easy. Works perfectly when it’s raining.

Keep sensor clean.
After having the sensor for almost 3 years, I will say it works good. Be careful as it gets dirty and you might think it's battery is dead. I had this issue, so i cleaned it with crc electronic cleaner.Then let it dry completely before turning back on. Make sure to set the bypass on the module before cleaning.Worked fine aftwards.

Easy to install and setup

Device eventually set up correctly and working well.The paper instructions provided are confusing and caused me to wire it up incorrectly.Had to refer to You Tube videos - they clarified the problem quickly.Hunter user guides are not great.
