Well I MUST say I’m impressed with these plastic markers. I needed something that was both weatherproof and able to stand out. I’ve even by accident stepped on these and they survived. Yes, they are worth the amount I paid. I even purchased more especially getting ready for planting my early spring crop from seed as I do every year.

Perfect - exactly what I needed. Easy to use and a Sharpie certainly writes on them. Wish I had found these years ago.

The 6 inch length is nice. Plenty of room for plant description. I used a label maker to make labels then adhere them to the stakes. Some I wrote on with a sharpie and all worked through the growing season without breaking. When I pulled them up after October they are all mostly intact and I was able to reuse 95% of them. The old sharpie writing can be removed with rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone. Just make sure to wash off the residue with soapy water. I just placed another order for these for this year as I am expanding my garden.

I've bought 4 sets of plant markers over the last few years, and these are finally the ones that I will go back to again and again. My criteria are: ones that are thick enough to insert into soil without bending or breaking, plus long enough to write plant name and still be seen above the soil line. Doesn't seem like a hard ask, but I've been dupped several times! These 6 inch Delatanus are exactly what I needed. Note if you are starting seedlings, the 4.7 inch Delatanus would likely work better (and I have them for that purpose). But for the garden, I love these 6 inch sturdy markers!

I usually buy 4" markers, but decided to go with longer ones so that I would have room to write the full name of the bulbs I was planting. I have dug 112 holes for bulbs this fall, and used up the whole pack. I have noticed though, that some of them are now bent or snapped off, probably from wildlife walking in my garden.

Parfaits pour bien identifier mes plantes. J’écris dessus avec un Sharpie à pointe fine et le résultat est très propre et facile à lire. Les marqueurs sont suffisamment épais et solides pour ne pas plier lorsqu’on les insère dans la terre, ce que j’apprécie beaucoup. Simples, pratiques et exactement ce que je cherchais.

These work great in the garden. They are thicker ones and last for years. I use a paint pen on them and it dries within seconds.
