Elegant yet simple
I give this shoe a five star because it not only is made well and is comfortable, i think it is adorable! You can always find plain pumps but the side flower is just as sweet as can be! The flower is not exactly white like the shoe but rather is a shade different that I find appealing. I happen to have a small, dainty foot so I don't mind the accent. I happen to think someone with a long foot would look even better, but that's my opinion. If you're trying to decide and feel fairly sure about your shoe size, I think you should order them and see for yourself. This little pump will go to a nice dinner, to a wedding, to church, to the office and all in the comfort of the padded in soles and adjustable heel strap. I am just beginning to wear them as Spring has just sprung but I look forward to wearing them all summer long!

Cute, well-made, some rubs
Not sure yet and will update soon. Just received these today. They are very cute, look just like the photo and the seem to be very well made. I normally wear a 9M and based on reviews, I order a 9.5, which seems to be my size in this shoe. I want very much to like these and keep them, but I feel several “rub points” and I get blisters easily. The inside strap on the right shoe rubs, the outer strap on the left shoe rubs. Maybe I lean :-). In addition, the toe box isn’t quite high enough for my large toe, but I’m hoping this gives after a while. The shoes were much more comfortable when I put a no show sock on (I recommend Sheec, by the way) but of course the heel and sides of the sock show, and this made the toe a tad more snug. I could buy a heel-less sock but the sides would still probably rub. I really needed a white, closed toe sandal and so far haven’t found any that work. I’m going to try to make these work, and I’ll report back. By the way, I think many people can wear shoes like this without socks and have no rubbing problems. I can hardly wear ANY shoes without socks.

Gorgeous dress sandal!
I wear a borderline medium/wide width and glad I went with the wide on this one. The toe box fits well and it narrows a bit to the heel as my foot does. The sides on this slingback are comfortable and essential to me because I need that extra support and stability. The heel feels stable and well placed but I'll still be careful on it; I'm used to more of a block heel so if it were any more narrow I'd have declined it. I always wear a 7, be it medium or wide but on this one, my toes are coming right to the edge. So if you're a bit in-between sizes, definitely order up a 1/2 size. It's also catching my pinky toe a bit in the crossover strap pattern, but I'm confident that will stretch as I wear it. The print is very lovely. Initially, I could take or leave the rosette decoration, but it's really grown on me. I will be wearing this with skirts and dresses to work and especially for going out on dates. Looks stunning with black, red & blue so far.

Very disappointed
Waste of money. I've had Huaraches that I really liked in the past. These look nice until you try to walk in them. The heel strap is so low on the heel that it immediately slides down. They are then very ungainly to walk in. Very disappointed.

Maybe not so nicely made, too short, practically no arch support
UPDATE: So I finally ended up with a 9N. The pieces of leather are a bit stiff and rough and can rub on toes and backs of ankles, which I suppose would go away with use; may try some moleskin on these areas. I have worn them ONCE and one of the strips of leather that makes up the web of the upper popped out of where it was secured to the sole near the little toe on the right foot. I am guessing glue rather than stitching, which does not bode well for continued use. Shame that SoftSpot took the cheap way out. I deducted a star for this. I normally take an 8N when wearing slip-ons but can use a regular 8 when there is an adjustable strap so that is what I ordered. Surprisingly the shoes were only a tad too wide and the adjustable buckle strap would handle that. The main problem was that my toes were actually scrunched up at the toe box, hitting the front of the shoe. The shoe bed is cushioned as you would expect with a Softspot shoe but there is very little arch support. I have high arches and did not expect full support but the arch support in these is practically non-existent. As I am accustomed to adding support, I have ordered an 8.5 as a replacement, so we shall see.

Pretty Perfect
Purchased these a few months ago and because they are woven (leather), I knew I would have to break them in before deciding if they would ultimately be comfortable enough to meet my needs and, yes, they are. I only wore them in the house (wood & carpeted floors) for several weeks and they ultimately passed the test. The PROS: Well made, reasonably comfortable, adjustable (buckle) strap with an elastic attachment on one side, a go-with-almost-everything color, easy slip-on-off (especially going through airport security), and...a "miracle" for me to find a huaracha-styled shoe (1) IN A SIZE 5, (2) well-made (leather), (3) with a heel strap. The CONS: (1) a little pricier than I wanted to pay (2) would have liked a more rounded toe for a casual, trendier look (3) not the most comfortable shoes I have but woven leather generally isn't (at least, not until they've traveled many miles.)

Straps came unglued then unwoven on both shoes
Wore these right out of the box. Softspots 'were' consistently well made and comfortable. Had these for over a year now, rarely worn. Still look brand new. Soles clean. Leather Good. Insoles look brand new. Shoes fell apart. Woven straps came unglued on both shoes. Cute comfortable shoe but won't buy again.
