Moon Living Abroad in Hong Kong [Boland, Rory] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Moon Living Abroad in Hong Kong Review: She said it was very helpful and had tons of great tips for living in Hong Kong - I gave this book to my daughter who was moving to Hong Kong. She said it was very helpful and had tons of great tips for living in Hong Kong, not just visiting or traveling to. She would recommend it ! Review: Geared toward very wealthy expats only - This guide is mostly for the expats who come on corporate packages, usually with a housing allowance. It has tips about the prime places to live, hiring maids, joining private social clubs and so on. Those on lower incomes, such as teachers, will not find that much information to help them -- even the sections on practical things such as setting up your life in Hong Kong are geared toward people with very high incomes. More affordable living areas, such as Tai Po, are only mentioned in passing, and the Ma On Shan area is not mentioned at all.
