A very inexpensive DIY alternative to paying someone hundreds for a simple fix. My dryer is like new again! everything fit perfectly and it was a breeze to install. It took less than 30 minutes to replace the parts and have everything running again.

Our dyer had been drying pretty bad for a few months, every load seemed like it took multiple cycles until it was finally dry... and then one day it completely stopped blowing warm air completely. Several videos later pointed me to checking fuses, resistors, and then finally the heating element, where I found one of the coil had completely broken through.I searched for OEM replacement options and through a bunch of different options on Amazon for build quality, how long it should last, etc... until I landed on this option which was well prices and had overall good reviews.It's been installed for roughly 2 weeks, install was quick and easy, removing the old unit, swapping on the necessary high temp fuse, and then bolting it back in place. The dryer spun up and quickly had nice and high heat again. I ran for about 30 minutes to "burn off" anything that would possibly make our first load of clothes through it smell, and it's worked great for many loads since then.For the price - would certainly order again if and when it decides to quit again.

It took me maybe 20 minutes to replace all these parts myself. It would have been over $200 for an appliance repair company to come out and replace them. It was very easy to do and my dryer works better than before. Exactly what I needed.

My whirlpool dryer has some good years on it....I wasn't for sure if I could fix it myself or pay a higher cost for an outside repair. After, taking the back panel off before to clean out all the accumulated lint that was causing my clothes to take forever to dry. I figured I would DIY, after watching a few videos on what could be the cause and removing the hearing element. The heating element coil was broken, so I ordered this compatible one from Amazon and I was So thankful it worked!! Dryer throws out heat like it did when I first purchased it! Would recommend to anyone who wants to save $$ and have a good product along the way. Saving on electric again with less dryer cycles is a plus esp in this time.

UPDATE: 4 stars for durabilityOrdered the updated version as the one I ordered last year only lasted 11 months. Fairly easy to replace. Cheaper than buying a new dryer. Cheaper than calling a repair man unless make more than $150 / hr. Less than an hour to replace if you are a not mechanically inclined. Hardest part is to move the dryer and lay it down flat without damage. You can walk the dryer out after disconnecting the vent hose. Tilt it forward onto a pile of laundry on the floor. Two people are definitely better to move the dryer. Ordered a two pack because when you clothes are wet they can mildew if leave them wet inside the machine.Fit as well as the OEM. Easy to replace. I should have probably replaced all the pieces they gave me but was short on time. The coils on dryers will eventually break given enough time. That is first thing to check when troubleshooting. The other fuses usually are good as long as you have fairly clean electrical power running to your unit. If you had a power spike recently I recommend you change everything.There are cheaper versions from unknown vendors. Highly recommend spending the $20 or so difference to save your sanity.Also would recommend ordering and replacing the flex hose that runs to the wall. I removed the hose to clean it out as it was full of lint and pieces of junk. Lost a piece at the end because the material was thin. I had enough to put it back but is now shorter.

Definitely great package deal, I helped out a customer who originally called me about the AC and Furnace not working and expressed she would be low on funds due to dryer being broken. Being in HVAC field they all have some of the same principles. So I figured it was the element after I did meter test on everything. This was cheap and easy to install…

Instead of buying a brand new dryer I bought this part replaced it my dryer works fine included all accessories the functionality man is amazing the value for the money the durability is excellent nothing cheap about this product it fits well included all accessories that you would need you probably ain't going to need everything but it sends you everything it needs is better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it this is a great product

This product fits my dryer perfectly. It’s very easy to install. I’ve purchased it twice. I’m giving it 3 stars because it gets wayyy too hot, this is why I had to purchase it twice. If we use only low settings on the dryer, all is well. However, if we try to use high heat, the clothes smell like they are burning and the heating element burns out in 20 min. So this clearly gets way hotter than it should. If you need a quick fix, go for it but be beware and only use low heat from that point forward.
