Ketone Meter, Ketone Breath Analyzer, Ketone Testing Kit with 10Pcs Replaceable Mouthpieces

I have been using this keto meter fo a few weeks now and it seems to be accurate. It is encouraging when it registers the numbers that mean you are in ketoses and encouragement is so important when you are trying to lose weight.

What did I like about this? It was cheap and really easy to use. I have the blood keto kit, and the strips cost a dollar a strip. It didn't cost anything to check my keto levels. But...What I didn't like after a few tests, The Ketometer started saying my keto levels were dangerously high. According to the chart from the company, I should go to the hospital and be comatose. Not being comatose, I checked my blood ketometer and I was barely in ketosis. Researching the breath ketometers, the cheap ones are known for being inaccurate.Even if it's free, which it wasn't, and you cant rely on the readings, it's worthless. I heard the Ketonix is accurate but they make you replace the sensor every 300 tests or every year, which sounds like a scam to me.I've been doing keto for years and I can tell if I'm in ketosis or not, so I don't really need to check all the time. If I do need to check, I check blood which is the most accurate. Still, it would be nice if they could get the thing to work.

I found that I get accurate and expected results (compared to weight and ketone strips) if I take the readings in the morning after I get up.Alcohol appears to have an interfering effect - overly high readings.

Never gives the same number twice, blood ketones say 1.5 this reads anywhere from 3 to 9 no idea why.

I worked ok at first. The readings varied more than the blood ketone meter we were using to determine it's accuracy, then it went haywire. With no breath sample at all it would register 9.95 then 4.0 then 0.0 then 7.5 etc. All within a minute, and after not having been used for 24 hours. NOT reliable at all for us.

The breath meter is so easy to use. I am so glad I purchased it because I plan to stay on the keto diet for the discipline and health benefits. This is a great tool for monitoring my ketones. I highly recommend it!

The first one that I ordered was defective. The readings were all over the place, mostly at 9.95, I don't think that's even possible. I returned and got a replacement. Same issues. I swear this one was a return since there were no instructions in the box. This one is even more inaccurate. Most of the time I'll either get a 9.95 or a 0.00 which I done't think are even possible. Sending this one back also. It looks like a lot of sellers are pretty much offering the exact same unit in white or black. I'm not even go to try to get one that actually works.

It's a nice alternative to ketone strips. It's easy to use and seems accurate enough. The down side to the product is the battery compartment is not well machined. It doesn't want to close properly.
