Really attractive, solidly built mini PC with premium components and good performance.
I really like the look, solid feel, and compact size of this PC. While setting it up, I kept finding nice little surprises in the configuration. I also took a few notes to share:Positives:1. The machine is even quicker than I expected. This is no tossed-together junk-drawer PC. That fact becomes obvious as you use it. I opened it up and it uses very high-quality components throughout the build. For example, this is a real 4 Core CPU with 8 threads of execution. Multi-tasking is very smooth. Apps and documents open instantly. There are no lags or pauses.2. It's sleek and attractive. The pictures don't do this machine justice. The case is precision milled, rugged, and beautiful. There is no fan, but the case never got warm. It's crazy quiet. There is no sound whatsoever.3. The 250GB internal SSD and the RAM were both top-quality, name brand parts. These are the same components you will find in many of the expensive big name brand machines. Again, this was a pleasant surprise.4. The mainboard on this amazing little cigar-box PC even has room for expansion! First, it has a connector to add an extra 2.5" SSD inside the case. They even included the cables required to install the extra drive. You'll also find a second unused slot for RAM. Using these slots, you could add a secondary 4TB SSD and upgrade to a staggering 32GB RAM in a computer smaller than a college textbook.5. While this is not intended to be a gaming PC, I was easily able to run a couple of tower defense type games with very smooth gameplay. The internal Intel graphics chips have certainly come a long way.6. I was also able to run Autodesk Fusion 360 on this machine without any problems. The models I loaded were easily and smoothly manipulated on the screen, but some of the higher level display features were missing. It was no surprise that some of the most advanced display features were absent, since this machine doesn't have a dedicated graphics board.7. The high performance and solid build quality of this machine make it an extremely good value.Negative:1. The biggest omission I noticed on this machine is the lack of Bluetooth support. Bluetooth is mostly used for wireless keyboards and mice, but virtually everything in a smart home these days can communicate through Bluetooth. I even have a battery-powered sander which communicates with its own batteries using Bluetooth. With all the fantastic features this mini PC includes, I was honestly shocked to see Bluetooth was missing. Even stranger is the fact that there seems to be an empty internal connector on the motherboard specifically intended for attaching a tiny Bluetooth module to the machine. The included WiFi module uses an identical connector to attach to the motherboard and the WiFi module is included. Why leave out the Bluetooth board?Thankfully, Bluetooth can be added easily using a USB dongle. I recommend a Bluetooth 4.2 or higher dongle because of the expanded feature set. The drawback of using a dongle is that it consumes one of the USB ports. So, when you order this machine, be sure to order a Bluetooth dongle, too.I can definitely recommend this PC. It looks, feels, and performs way above its price range. In general, I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a machine and I think you will be, too.Let me know if this was helpful by clicking below. Thanks for reading!

Really wanted to give it 5 stars
I bought this computer 5 months ago and until 2 days ago I would have given it 5 stars.I am using this mini PC as a music server, it runs 24/7 Most of the time it is only luke warm, it never over heated. I reaaly like this little unit! However, 2 days ago the Intel SSD died for no apparent reason. So we are down to 2 stars!I replaced the SSD by a new one, a Gigabite bran SSD, hopefully it will last longer.

So Far, So Good
We needed newer, higher-spec computers, but we work around dogs, and fur and computer fans don't mix particularly well. It's difficult finding better-specced, passively-cooled (fanless) PCs from more established PC brands, so we took a gamble and purchased two of these (Core i5, 16 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD). While we're happy with the purchase overall, there are some things that potential buyers should be aware of.First off, these are ready to use right out of the box. Just plug it in and turn it on, and you'll be looking at the Windows 10 desktop within maybe 10-15 seconds. These come pre-configured with a 'Kingdel' user account, so there's no need to go through Windows setup. Now, some people may be totally okay with that, but I'm going to provide some suggestions for anyone who's interested.Whether you intend to work with the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro installation or decide to do a clean install, please do yourself a favor and boot into the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro installation at least once to ensure that it's properly registered. Just go to the Start menu, then Update & Security, then Activation. If it mentions that Windows is activated with a digital license, then you're good to go. We didn't have any issues with activation, but the product description suggests checking the activation status, so I suggest doing so.So, why wouldn't you want to just continue using this particular installation of Windows 10 Pro? For starters, given how far behind this particular installation of Windows 10 will likely be on updates, if you want the latest and greatest build of Windows 10, then it'll be much quicker for you to do a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro using Microsoft's Windows 10 Media Creation Tool (which is available from Microsoft's own Web site and can be located by searching for 'Windows 10 Media Creation Tool' on Google), which allows you to create installation media for the latest build of Windows 10.Why else do I suggest that you do a clean installation of Windows 10? Well, if you dig around in the Start menu briefly, then you'll notice that Microsoft Office 2007 is installed. Now, while I'm sure there's a small chance that the company selling these computers has a license to provide Microsoft Office 2007 on PCs in perpetuity, I'm not that optimistic, and I don't like the idea of having software that's more than a decade old on my new PC, anyway. Plus, if you already subscribe to Microsoft Office 365, then you have no reason to leave an outdated version of Microsoft Office (or its remnants if you uninstall it) hanging out on your brand new computer. If you don't subscribe to Microsoft Office 365, then it's pretty inexpensive, anyway.Really, just do yourself a favor and do a clean installation of Windows 10 if you happen to buy one (or multiple) of these. I have no complaints about them from a hardware perspective (other than the fact that the USB ports are upside-down), but I'm not a huge fan of these computers shipping with such outdated builds of Windows 10 on them (especially given how long it takes for Microsoft to push out updates), especially with the inclusion of Microsoft Office 2007. If you're comfortable with doing a clean installation (or know someone who can do it for you), then I do highly recommended picking up one of these computers, especially if you need one that's well-specced and needs to be used in a dirty (or furry) environment.
