Maxone 1TB External Hard Drive Upgrade 2.5'' Portable HDD USB 3.0 for PC, Laptop, Mac, Xbox one and PS4 - Black

I bought it as external storage for my wii u. It formatted with no problem and works amazing. First of all the only thing I didn't like is it comes with 297gb of usable space. Why advertise 320 if you only get less than 300. Why does it take 23gb of space to run the drive? But back to the drive. Just make sure you get a y cable from here for $6. Nintendo will tell you you need a hard drive with an external power source its not true just get a y cable to double the power it can draw from the console. 5 stars all the waymy review is for the one of the picture i attached I LOVED IT when they sold the rounded corner one with flowers these square blue ones do NOT work with the wii neither do any of their other hard drives, I have tried 4 now. If you need a hard drive for your wii look for the maxone light blue one with the flowers. Looks a bit cheesy but it works.

This 160 GB external hard drive is exactly what I want to use to back up my Laptop. The package is perfect and shipment is fast. Pretty easy to use and convenient. The price is attractive at the first, but when I received it, the quality is also great. I was been using it for couple days, the speed is also fast. It took me several mins to backup my pics over six years. Anyway, the price is so good and the hard drive is so pretty!!

When it came I was incredibly unsure and afraid it would be flimsy and it WOULDN’T have the said capacity, but it DID thankfully. I hooked it up to my Wii U and it works like a charm, it starts up with the system and the storage space is indeed as stated. It’s nice and heavy which makes me trust it. A good present for storing photos and videos too!

Fast delivery. The product is ok and it has a lot of storage capacity. I give 3 stars for easy to use, because it is easy to plug in and connect to computer. However, the light indicator is too tiny like a needle point blue light. I wish the light would be a little big for a user to see if it is powered on in use.

This drive is a nice little storage solution for small jobs. I used it to store quite a few recipes and cooking ebooks for a family member as part of a gift. It's data capacity is a little on the small side, and would be gobbled up pretty quickly by high-def video files, but it was more than sufficient for numerous text and PDF files, which tend to run smaller. I liked that it supports both USB 2.0 and 3.0 protocols and mounts and writes quickly. Its plastic case appears durable enough to survive a fall or two, a common occurrence for drives such as this and the red plastic casing makes it easy to find on a paper-piled desktop. It's pricing is also appealing as long as you remember it's not as voluminous as today's multi-terabyte external offerings.

I am constantly at a loss for space. The Maxone 160GB Portable External Hard Drive at least solves my digital space problems (its size even helps with my lack of physical storage space, too).As a researcher, I am always saving images and pdfs that require space. As a parent, I am constantly taking large numbers of pictures to catch every moment of their lives. Whether occupationally or privately, this hard drive does the trick.First, it arrived protected and as a new product ought. I could already tell that it was going to work well for me because of its size. it is a compact, but solid, piece of hardware. It fits easily in small pockets of my satchel or computer bag. Its hard outer case protects it from the random bumps of everyday life (especially travel in a bus to work). Thus, its size and protective case make it quite convenient.Prior to this purchase I had tried a couple other options. My old hard drive no longer had the memory needed and, like some cheaply made ones, didn't always connect or, worse, save correctly. However, with the Maxone 160 GB, I haven't yet had a problem with a computer reading it or getting my data from it.

A bit on the slow side but it does its job. No instruction are provided and it was not recognized when plugged in do probably to improper format. Fortunately as as technician I figured out. If you are going to use it on a computer as portable HDD then beware that once you plug it in it won't be initially recognized and you will have to format it I am scratching my head wondering what it was formatted for. Learn what to do before you get it to avoid frustration. .

I purchased my external hard drive at the beginning of the year and have had no issues. Does what it says. I’ve been able to store 16 full length films, couple hundred songs and hundreds of pictures on just 80gb, so not bad at all. Please be aware that hdd external drives are more fragile than SSD drives, so if you’re dropping and banging your hard drive and just over all negligent in being careful with it, don’t come back here trying to leave bad reviews.

This is a good little external HD. It doesn't feel well protected in its case but I don't have a problem with this as I keep it in a bag and rarely have it out except for at home. Good price for the storage size given and decently fast data exchange.

Per chi ha bisogno dei suoi documenti sempre in tasca questo hard disk fa al caso vostro! Economico e funzionale. Trasferimento veloce dei dati e di buona qualità la scocca. Io consiglio sempre di metterlo dentro una custodia rigida. Completo ovviamente di cavetto usb. 160 gb a portata di mano con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Disco duro de 160 Gb, muy ligero, bonito diseño y pequeño, de unos 11 cm por 8 cm. Me hice con el porque ya había tenido problemas con discos duros más grandes, uno dejo de funcionar y perdí toda la información, además había dispositivos, como mi televisión que no lo leía porque tenía demasiada capacidad. Lo uso para grabar películas, series y fotos y va fenomenal. El primer día que grabé en el podía ver la información en el ordenador pero no en las televisiones, formatee el disco duro a formato NTFS y ya no he tenido ningún problema. Por un precio algo mayor que una memoria USB tenemos este disco duro de gran capacidad. Muy contenta con la compra.

Disco duro portátil de tamaño pequeño y almacenaje suficiente para lo que quería, que es fundamentalmente para tener los dibujos animados y series del pequeño de la casa. Al ser de un tamaño contenido es facilísimo transportarlo, cabe en cualquier sitio, y su color azul (hay varias opciones) es muy original y bonito.su capacidad es de 160Gb, ya sé que hay más opciones, pendrives, etc. que ofrecen lo mismo, pero me gustó esta opción y estoy satisfecho. En definitiva es un buen producto, y resuelve el almacenaje del contenido específico que quiero para esta opción.
