These are not bad. 20 gauge wire works best. I use these in conjunction with 8mm aluminum channel for under cabinet lights. I've been clipping off the tabs so I can fit them neatly inside the channel and cover them up with the plastic diffuser that comes with. I also have been trimming where the LED tape inserts as I use high output LEDs and the diode is very close to the solder connection. I haven't had any fail and I will continue to purchase as these are the only wire to tape connectors I've found.

My first install in my house I soldered everything together. While this is a fine solution and doesn't take that long- it does make install trickier either pulling wire/ lights already connected, or.. soldering once in place. With these it's pretty simple to get all your wires in place and connect them up. Everything felt pretty secure but I still wrapped some electrical tape around it to keep it even more snug and in place. Pro tip: If you put everything in place and THEN connect everything- leave 1/4" inch or so of the backing to the 3m adhesive on the lights so you can still slide it in the connector. If the backing is removed it's near impossible to put in place. I discovered this when trying to add a section after the fact because I wanted more light. Still got it done, but it wasn't near as easy had I just left a little bit of the backing for future extensions if needed.

I bought these to use with 8mm wide LED tape lighting and the "Muzata 6-Pack 3.3ft/1Meter U Shape LED Aluminum Channel System". The connectors are relatively easy to install and the connection seems adequate. I used 18AWG solid core wire without issue. The issue is the locking tabs and how they limited fitting the connectors into the channel. The locking tabs make the connector quite large I was able to trim the locking tabs and fit them into the channel quite nicely. Overall, I would buy and use them again, but they may need a bit of finesse for your application if you are using channels to house your LED strips.

These lights are easy to use, Just know exactly where you are going to put them, because once you peel the backing strip off, they are Super Sticky, and difficult to keep in a straight line. They are Very Bright and you can turn them down to almost no light at All

I bought these connectors with the LED strip lights. No instructions to the connectors but trial and error. I measured all my lights and wire. Put it all together, it worked for a minute then all lights went out after I tried to attach to my upper cabinets. What a waste of time. The wire that was recommended was just too thin to use. So instead of tossing all into the trash, I ordered a new soldering iron to solder all the connections.

The connectors work perfect to finish up my project.

Super easy to use, not finicky at all. I stripped the wire and inserted it past the middle into the slot for the light so it had a direct contact. I used jewelers tweezers to partially insert the wire into the connectors and then closed the connector to finish jabbing them into their sockets. Then put the led strip over the bare wires on the other side. Really strong grip, doesn’t feel like the wires will slip out easily. Will be buying more for future lighting projects!

Using these with Govee LED strip lights was a breeze! I used these along with 12 awg wire to jump our window and sink for under cabinet lighting. One side positive and one negative, simple and easy to use.

Product suited its use in separating two sections of a long LED strip, and connecting them up with a piece of figure 8 wire, so as to keep the upper shelf and lower shelf lit up with the same power source.
