I have had this trolling motor since March, I was skeptical from some of the reviews but I ordered anyway. Starting off, the battery life is surprisingly good. I've trolled around a lake for several hours at various speeds, into the wind and with the wind. It moved my 17 54 War eagle at around 2.5 mph max speed. Battery was barely half drained by the end. I've seen a lot of reviews talking about the sensitivity and noise from this motor. The unit I received is extremely quiet! The sensitivity is kind of tricky but short quick taps of the buttons for an adjustment does the trick for me. I can barely hear it turn when moved. It works great for pulling planer boards, as long as you like to manually keep the track you want to travel. For 55lbs it definitely has plenty of power for a 17 ft boat loaded with gear. Build quality is very nice for a sub $1000 trolling motor. If you are looking for a good trolling motor with remote that won't break the bank totally, go for this one. You won't regret it.

It works well, but needs good tools to install. I'm really going to like this over my old foot controlled one. With UPS delivering it, don't plan on Amazon's delivery times or even dates. The shipping box was severely damaged, but internal contents are protected by Styrofoam and no damage. UPS does this to a lot of heavy shipments.

This motor has the perfect amount of thrust and it maneuvers easily. It was easy to install and lowers well. I like the foot petal and love the remote control. I along with the motor being removed easy and it being able to be locked.

I think the motor is ok.remote went bad in 3 months. No help. Customer service sucks,do not expect any help from them.

After looking around a ton, this one stuck out to be a nice value. The parts feel quality, the wires are thick and the trolling motor is responsive. Be wary that the Mount does hang over the boat on the Bow. Some previous mounts for other motors are further back. This one over hangs the bow about 5 inches. Watch some videos on the install. Since it does hang over so far, the install could be affected by the minimal space between the top of the bow and the Hull coming together. I imagine this is being installed on a smaller bass Boat (sub 18 feet). You do need to get inside the Bow/Hull space to get the Nuts on the bolts. You might be able to install using screws if the top of the bow is reinforced, but, the unit is pretty heavy and you would need to buy different stainless steel hardware. Once the install was complete on the mount, I moved to the motor. All the items on the motor were easy to install. Directions a bit lacking. I seemed to be missing a "hard plastic spacer" that is located inside the motor. Upon watching videos, I found a similar piece to fill the spot. I have contacted customer support, and awaiting a response (been 2 business days now). ****No reply yet from Customer service on the website. 9 days. The foot pad works great The remote was very responsive (be sure to charge this while doing the install, so it is ready - USB rechargeable) I am looking forward to using the motor, and will provide updates.

All I can say is I love it. Everything on it works perfectly and smoothly. The price is the best part though. A very nice trolling motor for far less than the competitors. May quit working tomorrow but right now it is the best trolling motor I have ever purchased.

I purchased the one with the quick release. Easy install and the motor is powerful...trolls my 19 foot aluminum boat with with no issues. Remote is awesome. Just be aware that this motor works with several adjustments when turning. In other words, when you click left, it moves a pre-determined amount. There is no fine adjustments. So when trolling, expect to readjust frequently. However, with the remote, this is easily accomplished. For the $, it's hard to beat!

works well for my 14’ deep v. have used heavy for about 2 months and been very good and responsive with remote. the foot control is a little hard to be quick at but i just keep it stored in boat for emergency use battery consumption hasn’t been to bad on my 27 group battery
