If you need to entertain your hunter inside, you'll like these!
The media could not be loaded. I just gave my kitty access to the first one of these and she is over the moon with happiness! She likes interactive toys that spin and so forth, but she really needed something that acts like a bird or a mouse. And these are pretty much like a perfect little dead birdmouse, without the, ummm, downsides. For a $5 item to ship free without being an add-on item for Prime is pretty great!

cat loves them - and is pulling feathers out one by one
Nothing wrong with the toy - I can't imagine any other way for them to attach feathers so that a cat couldn't pull them out so easily. Our kitten loves balls and feathers. This is really light and he bats it around like a soccer ball and then "attacks" it and rolls around chomping the feathers. He pulls them out one at a time and chews on them. I let him for a bit but then throw them away as I am not sure if it is good for him if he were to swallow any part of it. But they are fun and not too expensive, soft so they don't hurt if you step on them, and quiet toys. I will buy them again once he removes all the feathers and destroys the balls.

My cats like it & it’s super cute
This cat toy is adorable. Bigger than I expected, I didn’t pay attention to the measurements when I purchased but it’s on the larger side for a cat toy. I sprayed it with a little catnip oil spray (purchased separately on Amazon) and my cats Bambi and Panda took right too it. I tossed it around a bit and my cat chased it around the room, a more rambunctious kitty would probably enjoy kicking it. It’s good size and shape to be wrestled with and kicked. It jumped in price after I purchased it for $7.07, I wouldn’t have paid more than that.

Half mouse, half mermaid?!
This was an impulse purchase that I'm astonished how much my cat Loves. Upon receipt, first reaction was that it was bigger than expected and maybe too big for a 4-month-old kitten. And being a kitten, she was unlikely to react to the catnip in it. Big Attraction turns out to be the the shiny, crinkly fabric that covers the mermaid portion of the toy's body. It makes makes a very satisfying popping sound when the cat's teeth punch through the fabric. My cat flings Mer-Mouse around daily, does her frantic rabbit kick on it, and finishes off with some nice hard crunchy bites. I can hear the "pop pop pop" from across the room. The feathers on the toy that tickle my kitten's whiskers add to her fun.

Nice, quality made cat toy
This is a really cute cat toy. I was pleasantly surprised with the size. It's about 10-1/2"x8" (27x20-1/2cm) which is bigger than I expected. The quality of the stitching is excellent, so I expect this to last for quite a while. There is a slight "crinkle" sound with the green material used for the fin of this "Mermouse".My cat Lucy doesn't get super excited about toys, and she will play with her Mermouse a little bit so I'm satisfied with that. There have been many, many other toys that she has completely ignored (it's just a trial and error thing). Overall, this is a good toy for the coin.

Yearly Stocking Stuffer For My Fur Baby!
My little fur butt loves feathers. When I don't feel like playing with her before bed to tire her out, I put some catnip spray on one of these, launch it across the room, and she wears herself out. They tend to last a good three years, and she is rough on them. They're all over the house, but she gets two new ones each year and loves them. For $4 you can't beat a better toy for your kitty's stocking. And they're quiet! Unlike other pet toys with bells, plastic parts, ect. Nice to have a few inexpensive cat toys to rotate from her toy box. Keep her aging mind active. American Short Hair, age 13, still acts like a kitten. Sign of healthy elder. I give credit, in part, to good play toys to keep her moving.

Perfect for a Wild Cat
My most recent foster cat was kind of bad at playing with toys (if he didn't think he could kill it, he wasn't super interested), but this one really got him going. It's always hilarious to see cats carry around their toys like kill they're proud of, and he did that within 5 minutes of unpacking. That said, the issue with any toy with feathers like this is that they get ripped out or messed up pretty easy. So far it hasn't lost any but a couple got kind of bent and messed up during the first playing session. Not a knock on the toy, that's just how feathers are, but might be a problem in the long run.Could definitely see these becoming a staple!

So cute, but not a great cat toy
I was so excited about this because it's adorable. It's larger than I expected, which is great as we can always use a new kicker toy. My cat was initially interested while I was taking it out of the packaging because of the feathers & bright colors, but rarely pays it any attention at all. On the rare occasion that he plays with it for a few minutes, it's come away with holes. The pretty shiny material can't hold up to any claw whatsoever. The second the claws come out, it's pierced & the hole expands quickly.

6 sets and counting
This is Geebs' Wife. We've purchased several sets of these. Our littlest cat is a 'toy snob'. He used to play with all sorts of toys until I purchased a package of these...now these are the only ones he'll play with. They have enough catnip in them to be interesting and are a good size for even a small cat to carry around and toss in the air and play with. The 'string' tail is sturdily attached; none of the tails have pulled out or been chewed off. The feather-y pieces detach after a while, so be aware that they could come off. They're a good weight for 'throwing' across the room for the cat to 'chase' or 'catch' and big enough that they don't get stuck under our low-to-ground couch. I imagine I'll be buying several more sets in the future to replace the ones that accidentally get dropped into a wet food bowl - I haven't tried putting them through the washing machine to try to clean them, I prefer to just start with a fresh one. Ours get daily use!

Advertises contains Catnip. Unfortunately ours did not.
It said, "Contains Catnip." Unfortunately what we received did not. My kitty lives catnip Toy's. He wouldn't acknowledge them. I inspected them and definitely no catnip. Toy's look to be quality made. Would give 5 stars across the board if they contained Catnip as advertised.

Doesn't contain cat nap.
The ad says it contains cat nip. The cat is the real consumer here -- I've seen what he does when there's Cat nip in a toy - the thing is played with to death. I couldn't feel anything or smell anything, and neither could the cat.

Cats are obsessed
Both my male and female cats go crazy for these. When I first gave it to them, you could really see their instinct to hunt come out and they would not leave these toys alone. The soft, plush ball helps them pick it up with their mouths and they carry it with them everywhere. They hold up pretty well - they have been playing with them for two weeks and only 1 feather has come out in each. I will definitely he buying again once these have worn out.
