New Balance 574 V1 Core Plus Lace-up Sneakers

New Balance KL574. Not just for running. Great sneakers for my kids, hard to find sneakers that aren't too stiff, narrow or just plain crappy. Sometimes you get that sneaker, with the brand name, but they are uncomfortable and you just feel guilty when your kids have to wear them to school. These aren't those, real comfortable, great fit, easy on and easy off. New Balance KL574 model. careful as all new balance models are not built the same :)

My son has the tendency to run shoes into the ground, but he joined a running club at school and needed a pair of running shoes like his teammates. It's a pretty good shoe. After your everyday wear and tear, these need to be replaced about 6 months later (worn from 6:30am-6pm, 5 days/week). They get to the point where the blue/orange turn more of a grey that can't be cleaned. the worst part are the laces (which can be replaced so not too big of a deal)... but for whatever reason these laces come untied about 10 times a day. The shoe is sturdy, so we'll buy again.

Bought these for my son who outgrew his other size 6 shoes but still couldn't fit in the size 7 just yet. It's super cute and feels light weight and there is enough cushion and support that makes it feels comfortable. My son is only 20 months old yet so he can't really tell me how comfortable they are but he doesn't mind wearing them. It doesn't seem much bigger than the size 6 he is currently wearing, I think it's a little narrow so it fits a little snug, but there is plenty of room in the front where his toes are so I know it's not too small. I just wish the laces were fake and has Velcro instead, this is his first pair of shoes with lace and he loves chewing on them when he's sitting in his stroller. I am looking for some no-tie lace for him right now. Overall, I think these is a great purchase and I would consider buying it again in larger size once he outgrew this pair (and I'll have no-tie laces ready for those too).

My 12 year old loves the 574 sneakers. Comfortable, stylish, and perfect for daily playground play and running. He wears the same pair every day and they they do get worn through under the ball of his feet in about 6 months. I think this is normal wear for such an active boy so we keep buying the 574. We haven't had any other issues with the construction of the shoe -- stitching and seams stay tight. I recommend this show.

I wish they made better minimalist footwear for preschoolers, but at least these are less engineered than the Keens they replace (oh, I hate those yuppie shoes!). I mean, what's the option for parents who don't believe in replacing 3.9 billion years of evolution with 40 years of sneaker marketing? I can tell you that there isn't an affordable one, and most aqua socks/reef shoes aren't great for long walks (too many seams). We live in the city. Barefoot is not an option. These are lightweight, flex fairly well, and while there's a lot of heel-toe drop (meaning the heel is higher than the toe, something nature didn't ever intend), it's not as bad as some of the other shoes out there. My son just likes them because he says they're fast!

I ordered the 7.5 WIDE. it fits and looks like a regular sized 5. Sad. My 2 year old son loved these, but never got to wear them.

I am an adult woman, and I bought these for myself. I take a 5.5 - 6 in new balance women's, and I wear a 3.5 in this shoe. The colors are true to the picture - very bright! The shoes themselves are not very comfortable for me, and the soles of my feet hurt after a day of wearing these shoes. I wear children's shoes frequently, so that is not the problem. The shoes do not have good arch support, and they do not have a lot of padding on the bottom. They fit a little too tightly at the top of the shoe, and no amount of adjusting the laces helps. I normally love New Balance shoes, and I buy their sneakers pretty exclusively. However, I wish I had not made this purchase, and I would not buy these shoes again.

Normally, I would've given this shoe 5 stars, because I've been ordering the same shoe for the past year every time my daughter goes up a size. I've even ordered myself a pair, and the quality and fit were awesome. I purchased us each a new pair in December, and both sets of sneakers fell apart before they were a month old. The glue stopped holding the sole to the rest of the sneaker, and the grips started to rip off of the bottoms. My daughter only wears her sneakers 2x per week on P.E. days, and isn't hard on her sneakers, so I don't understand what happened. It was both sets of sneakers that fell apart, so maybe just a bad batch of shoes? I love these sneakers, so I will purchase them one more time, because the quality of the previous sets was great. If they let me down again, I'm done!

achetées pour mon fils de 13 ans les baskets new balance 574 taillent normalement j'avais hésité à prendre une pointure ou demi-pointure de plus car new balance est réputé pour tailler un peu petit finalement elles sont pile comme il faut pour son vrai 38 la couleur est joli bleu bien flashy, conforme à la photo les finitions ont l'air bonnes et la qualité correcte le seul défaut pour moi est que ce modèle est un peu large pour le pied très très fin de mon fils

Mi mujer las queria y la vedad es que son muy bonitas y esta encantada. Tallan el numero que lleves habitualmente

J'adore ces chaussures ! C'est exactement ce que je cherchais. Ces New Balance sont utiles pour le sports. Je le recommends.

El producto llego en tiempo y forma y es exacto lo que habia ordenado, la zapatillas son hermosas, por ahi los colores en la foto parecen un poquito mas flojito que lo que son en vivo, es un rosa mas punk.

Una vergüenza , lamentable . Mejor ahorrarse los comentarios , No merece la pena gastas ni un minuto en el comportamiento Del vendedor .
