Nice and simple
I drive an older vehicle for work that doesn't have Bluetooth capability. I have a Google pixel 6 pro and it doesn't have a headphone jack but it came with an adapter that you plug into the charging port to be able to plug in headphones or an aux cord. I also have to use my phone for work so I needed something to be able to play music as well as charge if needed. This works perfect! This is small and light not bulky and heavy! Doesn't change the sound quality from your phone. This is NOT some cheap piece of crap! I think this is worth every penny you pay!

Macbook to Schiit Audio DAC Hookup
When your Macbook has only one type C input/out which is also used for power it can be quite a problem when you want to hook something up yet power the computer at the same time. This little gadget both powered the computer and gave me the ability to hook up the Schiit Audio DAC at same time. I now have flawless sound and full power at the same time. The sound quality is superb. Construction quality is very high. The only gripe I would have is that the spacing between the two type C sockets could be maybe a 16th of an inch wider as it was a tight squeeze to fit a type C to USB adapter and the type C power cable side by side.I truly was sceptical that it would work but it has opened a new world of streaming audio on my system.

amazing splitter
I purchased this splitter to be able to utilize headphones with my google pixel 4 and allow it to charge since we all know phones in use depending on age can drain somewhat quickly. This splitter was the answer to what I was looking for.It has worked perfectly since the day I got it the audio sounds great and the buds that I am using also have a microphone so it transfers the audio smoothly as well from the microphone to the apps that I useoverall this splitter is ranked 11 out of 10 by me.

DIED AFTER 8 USES!
UPDATE: This splitter worked great until it died after 8 uses!I have a Google Pixel 2 phone and I use it in my car and at home. I have Sirius XM in one car and not the other car. So with that subscription, I have Sirius XM on my phone too. I have an aux cord with the opposite end being a type C USB (bought on amazon). **IN CAR: I plug this splitter into my phone, I plug the aux end into the car radio then put the other end (type C USB) into the left side of the splitter, then I plug my phone wire into an electric source in the car and I plug the other end into the right side of the splitter. **AT HOME: I use that same Aux to Type C USB cord, and I have speakers with an aux port. And you set it up the same way. You don't need to have Sirius XM. You can listen to any music on your phone. This way your phone battery never runs down. But then it died! So it went from a 5 to a 1 rating!

Works as promised ... but not quite like I hoped
I have a laptop that only has 2 USB-C ports and no other interfaces. One USB-C port is occupied by a security key. I had two situations that I wanted to address with this USB-C splitter: 1) Use a USB-C type headphone/mic while charging the laptop battery, and 2) Use my USB-C headphones while my computer is docked (the dock connects via USB-C). This adapter works great for situation 1. I can recharge my laptop battery while using the headphones without removing the security key. It does not work for the second situation, though. To be fair, the ad does not claim that this splitter will work for the second situation, so it is working as advertised. I still like it and will continue to use it.

Updated... Had Some Issues
UPDATE: Didn't last very long. The connector that plugs into the phone quickly wore out after a couple months and wouldn't connect securely. Now it wiggles around causing the sound to cut in and out, and goes from playing through my headphones to blaring whatever I'm listening to out of the phone speaker and causing video playback to constantly stop and start because of the bad connection. I loved it up until that happened. Just needs a better quality connector that doesn't wear out so quickly, and it would be perfect.I've been using this for a few days, was exactly what I needed. Works great on the Note 10 so far. No negative impact to the earbuds and lightning charger quality, both still work just as well as if they were each plugged directly into the phone. The only negative I've found so far, is that when you're listening through the earbud port and connect or disconnect the charger side, it interrupts the connection to the earbuds and pauses playback. When you hit play, the sound then plays through the device opposed to the earbuds. Can create a slightly awkward situation when you're sitting in a room full of people depending on what you were listening to. Ha.I've found that unplugging the entire adaptor from the phone and plugging it back in before hitting play after connecting/disconnecting to the charging port reconnects the earbuds to the device so that it resumes playback through the earbuds.Worth the extra step, and a minor inconvenience when compared to not being able to charge the phone while also listening to audio through earbuds simultaneously at all. My only concern is the wear on the phone and adaptor ports from constantly plugging/unplugging.Otherwise perfect so far, and would still definitely recommend!!!

Audio interface capabilities? Not for me.
Charges pixel 2 and Razer Blade Stealth 13 (late 2016)Does not work with audio interface equipment though, but it DOES work as a general use for charging your phone and playing music simultaneously. I tried using it as a cop out to be able to charge my laptop and connect a USB C audio interface (this laptop has one thunderbolt c port), but that required an additional thunderbolt port I was already using it to charge the laptop so I thought maybe it would work through the headphone part of this splitter since it's already connected to the thunderbolt port on my laptop. Maybe better luck for someone else.
