Cool little gadgets
These are really cool. They fit firmly on my thumb and I was able to complete every task I set out to finish. The one task I didn't expect to use them for was removing price tags from Christmas gifts before wrapping them. I didn't have to ruin my manicure. Totally recommend.

Works Well!
I wish I had these Thumb knives years ago. Clipping plants and herbs is so much easier. I also use them to hollow out my Passion Fruit for juicing. The best part is my nails are no longer chipping from trying to hand pick veggies and herbs without a tool.

They actually work!
As a gardener, I often have stained nails from pruning or deadheading. This little tool looked like a good idea but I wasn't sure how it would actually pan out. Both the silicone and knit pieces fit well on my fingers. (While I have large hands, I don't have fat fingers, so average sized). It takes a little practice to get the right angle but once I did, they worked very well and I didn't experience any damage to the finger used as the stop. The protective cover is useless as is, but with a bit of a trim, it should better fit the blade. The blade sits in a curved position and the little cover is straight across. I'll just trim a crescent shape from the edge. Just haven't done that yet. I give them a sharp thumb's up.

They might work perfectly for you
I love the idea of these, however, they didn't work for me. Since our hands are unique to us - size, strength, shape and the way in which we move them - there is no way to tell if these will work for you without trying them. My fingers don't bend in a way that puts the blade in the proper position to cut a stem easily. It also rubs uncomfortably against a bone in my thumb. It could, very well, be a helpful and time saving tool if it it fits you like it should.

Sharp & useful, be careful as you get the hang of using them.
I love using these for pruning leaves off my plants! Clean cuts. They do take some getting used to at first but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. Great for tomatoes & all other plants!

Don’t buy it or be prepared to return or gift to a Jolly Green Giant.
Rev. 12/2022 I found these again in the shed. (I never did find the Jolly Green Giant to give them to.) At the time I was wearing a pair of well fitting gloves so slipped the small size on my thumb and middle finger and they stayed attached to the glove. Though I can’t attest to it, I suppose the large may have like results when worn on a man’s similarly gloved hand. I purchased two sets of these to use for the trimming of tender vines and branches and the pinching off flowers, vegetables, and fruits. One set in a size small for our daughter to use at her home, and another in large for me. They are strong and very sharp and come with a blade cover with good reason, and they are certainly capable of doing the job. The sizing was very disappointing! Imagine my surprise when, despite labeling to the contrary, they were virtually the same size. Both were huge, constantly and dangerously falling off our digits and rendering them hazardously useless. I’m not a fine boned female gardener so it seems that, at the very least, the small should have fit me. It didn’t.

Great stocking stuffer
Fun and useful stocking stuffer for the gardener in our life.

Impulse buy that didn't work out.
Too big for thumb, and I do not have small hands. Also too big and clumsy to get at spent blooms and leaves that are close to still live ones. Either knock off or accidentally cut off live ones. All in all, awkward and a struggle to use. Easier and quicker to use regular plant snippers.
