Great tester at a good price.
Had these testers at work and they work great. THis one is no different. Its not as fancy as some, but you pay the price for those. This is a durable tester that gets the job done for a good price. The carry bag is a little thin, but works.

Works like a charm!
As a systems and network administrator I use this tool quite a bit. It works exactly as intended and I couldn't be happier with it. The detachable loopback is a life saver and allows me to test from the wall jack in one room to the patch panel in the main distribution frame. The travel case keeps the patch cable and clips all in one place with the tester itself. I was also surprised with the battery life, it's very good. Extraordinarily easy to use and even identifies crossed or split pairs. A must have in any networking tool bag.

Great for the DIY kinda guy
Used this to check my cables after I installed connectors for my whole house network. It's simple but does the job. It great for identifying issues at the connectors. If your problem isn't at the connector this isn't going to help other than tell what pair has a problem. Overall it does what I expected.

My favorite tester so far
This little guy does everything. Tells you what you messed up. Tone works great when put on all pairs. Battery lasts. Wish they were still 40 bucks. Don't drop it off the side of a 6 story structure though. That's how my last one met its end...

Byte The Problem
I have used this on several occasions and am very satisfied the reliability and ease of use. I have used this to check cables I myself have made and others. The optional tone is great for the detached “Remote Terminator”.I have used this on several occasions

I like this tester so much .. I am going to order more of them in the future..it can tone out cables just wish it came with a toner wand of its own..
