Excellent Value, Love the Timeblocking capabilities
I'm not much of a reviewer but Scott seems to take a lot of pride in his product and his company and I admire that a lot and wanted to put something out here.As far as the planner goes, if you're looking for a timeblocking feature (which is ODDLY HARD to find in planners these days that isn't a "At A Glance") this is it. This is my favorite feature in planners because it's so visual and you can immediately see what your day or week is going to be like. Now, I also don't really love that it's undated - but I also knew what I was getting into since that's the name of the product. I watched Scott's video on dating, and he's right it's a feature for people who buy a planner any-time during the year and still be able to get their moneys worth, which I appreciate. I like having dates above each day though, as sometimes when I write appointments in I have to count it out.Lastly, the last planner I used was a passion planner, and the paper in that was stock paper. This one is considerably thinner (not by any means, bad quality, just not as high quality). I would consider using a ball point or gel pens, in case you're someone who still uses very inky liquid pens or markers. I can use a light-colored, considerably not inky highlighter with no bleeding. This doesn't affect it's usage, but I imagine this is something someone would want to know.Otherwise the structure of the planner is excellent and very useful. I love having a notes section for each date. There's not too many extra useless pages I won't use that just create bulk. And lastly, the planner itself was a steal price and would absolutely consider getting it again.

Finally!! The perfect simple useful planner
Finally a planner that doesn’t distract me with probing questions about my lifetime goals or ask me to process my dreams. This planner checked all my boxes!-weekly view per page (at first I was concerned that it says each week in a Monday, but stacking Saturday and Sunday columns does make it more functional seeing the whole weekend without turning the page. A to do and notes section at the bottom of each week-hourly markers, starts early enough! I start work at 7:00. 8:00 start times make me sad about not sleeping in like my fellow planners-space to write WHATEVER I want, alternates with weekly page (bonus Dot grid ❤️)-free notes in the back, dot grid, a few more would be nice. this is a year planner.-nice big but secure pocket for my stickies!-mostly undated, (just the calendar in front) for a whole year, not 90 days-quality paper and yet lightweight! Fits in my smallish handbag.-opens flat! totally flay Easily, without groaning in the spineThis planner is darn near perfect for me. For sure gonna get it yearly. What might make it even better?-tabs or perforations. The strings are nice and all, but they’re not trustworthy. I know that ask is complicated with un-dated pages. I'm just dreaming here. I added post-it flags. I could shade my edges. These are easy solutions.-Pen loop. I bought some (Amazon carries EVERYTHING). I wish I had added to the back instead of the front, cuz it now blocks my tabs.-A place to write the date next to the day, not just the dates for the week-I wouldn’t mind a couple color choices for the exterior, but I’m a black and white fan anyway..-an "if lost return to"

A happy end to a 25 year search
It would not be an overstatement to say I have spent the last 25 years looking for the "perfect" planner to suit my needs. I have bought every conceivable brand, even concocted several of my own, and have never quite found what it is that I needed. Some years I only make it 6 months into a planner before I need to jump ship and try something new. I am a homeschool mom who has lots of "plates" to keep track of and I need to be as organized as possible, both for my personality type and for my lifestyle. I am not a "one size fits all" person, so having a planner that was designed for a different person, lifestyle or fad just doesn't cut it for me. As a creative person, I honestly thought I was going to love bullet journaling, but quickly realized how tedious and time consuming that was. Enter The Art of Planning planner and I think I have finally found what I have been looking for! The genius lies in its simplicity. There are no bells and whistles here, just a strong iron framework that allows you the flexibility make it as simple or as complex as you need it to be.What I love: *Only 3 simple page styles--month, weekly layout (front page) and daily notes (back page) *the weekly layout has scheduling blocks for ease in writing appointments and just enough note space under the days to keep a few important to-dos or reminders that apply to the full week *the daily notes have their own layout, allowing far more room for notes, lists, etc. than a traditional planner *the daily notes layout has a dot grid, which aids in keeping my notes straight and organized when needed, but allows for creative flexibility if desired without being obtrusive *there are no extras to get in my way and bog me down...no water tracking or guided goal making sheets, etc. *(this actually started out as a negative for me, but quickly became a positive) it's undated, allowing me to set my year, whether it be "calendar" or "academic" or some other such criteria. As a shortcut, I bought planner date stickers, making it super quick and easy to date my planner 1-3 months at a time *the size makes it easy to carry around and the little back pocket makes it convenient to keep my planner stickers on hand at all times *even the double ribbon markers are of great use...allowing me to keep tabs on the month view and the week view at the same time and the whole book is held closed by a strong elastic, that even after 6 months of use has retained its strength (so many journals with similar elastics lose their elasticity with a few months of hard use) *rounded corners *customer care--CEO Scott has contacted me on a couple of occasions just to see how I like the product and has taken the time to respond to my comments and suggestions. Leaves me feeling for once that, as a customer, my opinion really matters. What I would like to see improved: *After using the planner for about a month, I realized that it would have been really useful to have a series of blank note pages in the back so I could either keep a list of reoccurring deadlines, budget info, or phone numbers without trying to remember what day I wrote the info down on (I see in the most recent update, these have been added) *I'd love more color choices...black is the worst color for an item that I need to be able to find at a moments glance on a coffee table covered in school and work paperwork and clutter *probably my biggest want is that the time stamps on the left-hand page of the weekly view should be on the right-hand page as well to make it easier to track the lines between the two layouts. *not huge, but it might be nice to have a standard list of reoccurring holidays in the front with the yearly calendar viewsOverall, I am very please with this planner. With a little washi tape and a few fun stickers, I can add whimsy and fun to this no-frills workhorse and I am looking forward to buying another one for the upcoming year, possibly even a second to use as my "teacher planner" to track my kids' schoolwork for the year.
