What does mean 2 channels? Is it multichannel device, that able to play 2 different tracks one through the back and the other via headphones?

It means for me anyway, I can plug my guitar in and my XLR Mic and record both inputs separately. Hope this helps on the back is just a lighting cord that goes into the PC. Both inputs show up as separate inputs on your PC.
