Gel Spice Bulk Authentic Pickling Spice 4 LB (64 Ounces) Kosher

We use this spice for both cucumbers and peaches to make a sweet and a little spicy pickle. It works well for both and is easy to measure with the big lid. Thanks for the quality product at a good price.

I did pickle 2 dozen eggs using just 2 teaspoons of this pickling spice for each dozen. I did add freshly ground pepper+pepper corn. The taste is good and mild, as we even had 1 each tonight in our salad. But I will use more of the pickling spice next time. I still think it is a good value, even if any of us have to add additional spices for pickling other vegetables, meats, eggs, etc.......

I love this! It has a lot of flavor and a decent price.

My usual pickling spice has a better ratio of mustard seeds to coriander. It is also completely missing peppercorns. It is mostly coriander. A good value for what I got, but I will be supplementing with additional mustard seed and peppercorns.

Only the bg I hate is th star anise slice..other than that fabulous slice mix

It was just the pickling spice I was looking for! I don’t know if I added more salt in my recipe or if the spices just bring out the saltier taste but that would be my only suggestion is to maybe use a little less salt in your recipe if you’re using this pickling spice, but otherwise it is a great value for the money!

No complaints from me. Love the ease of this. I use I knee high nylon to put the spice in so I don't have the spice in my canned goods. I will buy again. Great value.

This is my first year to use this product and to also can different types and styles of pickles. So far this product has delivered as promised. I do feel that a certain spice may be missing or lacking, cause the pickles just seem to be missing something in the flavor. But of course it could be the maker lol.
