Zebra Clip-On Multifunctional Pen, Non-Color Clear Barrel (B4SA1-C)

Love this pen. I started writing again and use it for my daily schedule activities. Moved away from phone notes because it is too complicated and distracting.

I've always loved the idea of the 4-color ballpoint pen. But working in software design, I also do a lot of thinking in pencil, which meant one more thing to lose track of. Then I tripped over these 4-color pens that include a 0.5mm mechanical pencil that has been engineered to fit in the space occupied by a ballpoint pen insert. I've never looked back, and have since bought these for several others, and keep one on my desk where it won't get lost, and one in my pocket for daily use out and about. I have two quibbles with the design, both of which are trivial to work around, and definitely not worth knocking anything off the star rating. First, the pencil eraser is obviously there because a pencil has to have one. But it isn't that good an eraser, and I just ignore it. Second, like all multi-color pens, it needs a specific length and diameter of replacement ink. The replacements are readily available, and I keep a good stock of black and one each of the colors on hand. It feels as nice in the hand as any plastic bodied writing implement I've owned. I write with this one, a white-barreled one, or a black-barreled one daily. The red, green, and blue inks are clear solid colors. They make a nice complement to the basic black ink. I'm not sure what hardness of pencil lead was in the pen originally, but I keep HB on hand for refills as that is the grade I've been using for (mumble) years and I'm too stubborn to change.

I have used this pen for 13 years in my Nursing career. I love the multi colors along with a pencil and eraser. So much easier than carrying multiple pens around and it lasts quite a while. You can get refills for the ink or pencil or just get a replacement. I'd be lost of they didn't have this anymore.

This multi-pen is surprisingly easy to hold and write with, even if you prefer standard diameter pens. I doesn't feel any bigger than a standard fountain pen in the hand. I also purchased the Zebra Sarasa version of this pen, which features Zebra's gel-ink refills. That pen is ever so thicker, and noticeably longer, and also features a different mechanism that rattles more. But here's the great thing: You can simply by the Saras refills, cut a bit off them, and use them in this pen. For versatility, simply replace the blue or black (dealer's choice) with a Sarasa refill, and you have the best of both worlds. The smooth, high contrast experience of gel ink, and the longer lasting and surface-agnostic ballpoint ink. The one downside is that the pencil is a bit difficult to remove for refilling. All in all, this pen is much more normal sized than you'd think for containing four pens and a pencil (with eraser!), and might be a great economy pick for every day use.

I knew this pen form my country and I didn't find it in United States, So I bought it from amazon. It is a good pen. Is has 4 pens with pencil and eraser. Is is amazing. I use it for 4 years or 3 and this is my first time to bought it from amazon.

I really liked the idea of the pen-pencil, my only problem id the pencil part does not work and have had no luck getting it to work

I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS PEN!! I was so upset when it grew legs at work. I didn't feel like going to little Tokyo to buy another one, cause that's the only place I've found it, but then I thought to look here on amazon!! Yaaay, it shipped right away and bought it for twice as cheap! I am so so happy :)

I genuinely don't understand how this doesnt have more rave reviews. This product is amazing! All 4 ballpoint colours write incredibly smoothly. I usually only use gel pens because I like a very smooth pen and this is the ONLY ballpoint that I will use do to its smoothness. Additionally, it comes with a 0.5mm pencil, the lead is also very smooth. The pen doesnt feel shaky or like its parts arent study (I can't stand that) it feels very nice. Really great for a student like myself who does a lot of writing. I am a stationery addict and have tried so many products that are just mediocre or bad but this is truly a product I love. I disagree that it feels low quality. It is great quality and excellent value for the price. Well worth a few weeks of waiting. This has become a staple item in my collection and I will definitely be purchasing more!

Great pen. Smooth mechanisms, red, blue, black, green pen and a mechanical pencil. Everything is refillable. Writes awesome.

Super convenient!

I love this pen. I have one in every coat and backpack I have. It is just super convenient to have access to three different colors of pen and a mechanical pencil all at once. Yes, that does make this pen thicker than the average pen, but that actually makes it much more comfortable and easier to use. This is the most practical pen I have ever owned. ( However, I haven't tried refilling yet... I normally lose pens before I use them up... but that would effect my rating if I found refills hard to find or difficult to change. Will add that to this review when I cross that bridge)
