Awesome book definitely worth buying!
I really liked this book it is awesome. The pictures are great and the information about the games is really good too.

Good read!
The book itself is good but the amount of typos is bothersome and just makes the book feel rushed. The editor should find a new job.

Harder to read than ideal
I like the content just fine and I appreciate the in-depth asides. That said, the page backgrounds sometimes obfuscate the text, making the narratives hard to read. I also agree with *most* of the placements...purely subjective of course!

Very Disappointing
I was really looking forward to reading this book, but ultimately it is a big let down. The first half of the book (the "top 100") is a waste of paper. The "reviews" of the games are non-existent. Some of them are barely 10 words and non give any explanation about the games, such are game play or story for example. And the "photo's" are tiny, about 1/4" x 1/8", you just can't see them. Second half of the book is slightly better, as they have selected some games and given them more detail, but still not the game "preview" I was hoping for. I feel these are just reprints from their magazine. What this book should have been is a top 100 with a whole page giving you details about the game, genre, game play to expect, details about story and graphics and music..... then a page with some nice big screen shots. Well, that's what I wanted anyway, because many of the games on their list (75+) I have never played and I wanted some meat on the bone before I went out and bought them.

The font and paper quality really makes this a chore to read. Not to mention it seems like random tidbits someone just got off the internet and made a book out of it. I have bought many books like this one and they're actually fun to read...not this one.
