GLACIER FRESH MWF Refrigerator Water Filter Compatible with GE, 3-Pack

I rarely write reviews for products, but I felt I had to for this water filter. I recently moved to the city and the tap water tastes awful and my fridge wanted a GE MWF filter, but it was ridiculously expensive just for 1 filter. So I figured I'd try this out instead for a cheaper cost, but also expecting less quality. However, I just installed it tonight very easily and I am very impressed by the quality of water now. I followed the instructions and ran a few liters of water when I first put it in, and there was some sputtering, but not more than expected. And when I tasted the water, it was completely different than the previously gross, muddy taste. The water tastes much fresher and visibly looks clearer. I am very impressed with how well this filter improved the taste of water, especially at a much better price than the name brand. Definitely worth the purchase!

Cheaper than hardware store and fits perfectly

Easy to install, even for an old lady like me. Pop it into place and twist. Bam. Fresh clean water after draining a few gallons first. You can't beat this item!

Great replacement water filter

I was worried that this filter would t last as long as the GE filters but it totally replaces them. Im not sure how well it filters but it seems to put out crisp clean great tasting water.
