The good, and the bad. Some time, trial and error with this print bed...
There is a lot of good in this plate. I originally got it because the magnetic one that came with my Ender 3 pro literally tore up and ripped after scraping a couple of prints off of it with the scraper that came with the printer. I had heard a lot of good about glass print beds and decided to get the Ender glass print bed as I thought it would have the best fit. This print bed has exceeded my expectations in many ways. I have printed dozens of objects on it, and it works every time! I havn't had to re-level my print bed since I installed the glass one. I initially had a hard time gettig ABS to adhere to the plate, but it was easily fixed by a good wash with isapropyl (rubbing) alcohol. The only problem that I have with this bed is getting the prints off the bed once the prints are done. The Amazon description tells of how the print will come off easily once the plate has cooled, but this is not true. Once you get the print to properly adhere to the bed, you really have to work to get it off the bed once the object is done. I did not have this problem when I flipped the bed over to the smooth glass side, but I had this problem almost every time on the coated side. I do think that the coated bed makes a difference in adhesion, but the trade off is it is harder to get the print off when you are done, and the print has a rougher underside. This is a very good glass plate, but if you are new to using a glass print plate, there are some things to keep in mind: 1. Prints are harder to remove due to the lack of the flexibility of the stock magnetic plate that comes with the printer. 2. You have to secure the plate to the print bed with clips (I use binder clips). These clips can sometimes take up space on the print bed, and make sure to plan around this space when slicing your 3d file as to not damage your print head by running into the clip. 3. A glass print bed is thicker than the stock magnetic one. Due to this, you will need to compensate for this extra thickness by either re-leveling, or adjusting the height of the z-axis stop switch on the printer. Failure to do this could result in stalling of the motors, and overall damage to the printer. Overall, this is a nice print bed for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their printer!

will never go back to magnetic beds
I had this bed sitting in storage for a while because i was using the magnetic beds. after ruing my last one on a bad print (don't ask), i decided to break out this glass bed. First thing i noticed was that i would need to adjust the Z-axis stop switch which was easy enough. the bed leveled easily and i had pretty decent adhesion right from the start. after a few successful prints, i started one that would take around 9 hours to finish and went to bed expecting to wake up to a finished project... i couldn't have been more wrong. the adhesion failed and progressively pulled the pieces off of the bed and eventually clogged the extruder forcing melted filament up into the silicone sock completely encasing the heating block and nozzle in a thick cocoon of melted and hardened filament. after spending some time dismantling, cleaning and reassembling the extruder with a replacement nozzle (the old one was shot), i cleaned off the bed with some 70% isopropyl alcohol solution. i then noticed that not only did this perfectly clean the bed and dry quickly, but left the bed feeling slightly tacky (like hard rubber). this slight tackyness provided added adhesion while still allowing the prints to lift off easily when completed. i started wiping the bed with the alcohol between each print ever since, and i haven't had a print fail due to lost adhesion since. I will never go back to magnetic beds again.

Best Printer Upgrade Under $20
I was unsure of all the hype that seems to be behind glass beds in the 3-D printing community before ordering this product, but I am now on the hype train. I had trouble with bed adhesion on my stock ender 3 bed plate when printing my new wood filament. This glass bed solved that problem 100% and I now get great adhesion on all my prints. This glass bed is also very flat, and will cut your bed leveling time exponentially. Since printing on it for a month, I've only re-levelled once, and this probably wasn't even necessary. The only issue I've had is with prints with a large first layer area. When I'm unable to remove the print immediately after the bed starts cooling, the print tends to stick to the bed. There is some finesse to be learned with wiggling and prying the print off the bed, but WATCH OUT when using a metal spatula that you might use on a different surface - it WILL scratch this glass. Although still totally functional, it was just a little sad when I scratched my brand new glass bed after the first print :,( All-in-all a great upgrade and I believe the best one you can buy for under $20. PS don't forget to but some larger binder clips - I used 3/4" and they fit PERFECTLY! Happy Printing!

Such adhesion, much removal trouble, very wow!
Before I describe my experience with adhesion, I need to make a note that the plastic film that covers the plate left behind a residue that I'm still trying to get off. The plastic film didn't even cover the plate evenly, so I have a two inch or so stripe down the center where there is no residue. I am hesitant about using something like acetone to clean it off, and it isn't sticky, so Goo Gone does nothing. I don't know for sure if this residue affects how the plate works, but I don't care about the cosmetic issue, so if this residue doesn't affect adhesion, I don't really care. Now on to the glass bed itself. It looks like a well made glass bed and it fits perfectly as one would expect. The adhesion of this bed is insane. I wanted to note the previous details, because when I say the adhesion is ridiculous, I don't know if that residue is responsible for the almost gorilla like adhesion of my print, but some of the claims that all you have to do is wait for it to cool off and the print will just pop off is greatly exaggerated. In fact, even after waiting for prints to cool all the way down (and sometimes an hour or so more) prints are still very hard to pry off the bed. One suggestion was to run it under cold water. It did help for one single print, but I had a number of other prints that running under water did not help with. I even tried to put it in the freezer, and it seemed to help to wiggle some of the prints off, but there were a number of larger prints I had to put it into the deep freezer for a long time to get the print to come off the plate. I normally print at 50c, but I did find that printing at 60c does help the print to come off a bit easier, likely because it has more contraction as it cools, but it does cause stringing issues, so that is something to be aware of. I also noticed that somehow my prints are a lot more accurate. I'm not sure how much the plate has a role in this, but I guess a print with no hope of breaking free may be more accurate overall, but I just wanted it noted. Overall I am very happy with this glass plate. I wish the parts would just pop off on its own and not need the assistance of the deep freezer, but I would buy this again if this plate decides to break, probably going from a deep freezer to room temperature.

WELL worth the investment
I can honestly say this upgrade has been one of the best I have ever made to my Ender 3. The glass makes up for any warps in the alum bed and really makes an awesome print surface. Because of my BLtouch I didn't need to make any adjustments and to start printing with the bed immediatly. I wiped the bed down with isopropyl alcohol and set a nice Z offset height and the first layer squish is even and flat with no thin or thick spots from ripples, the first layer went down PERFECTLY. My only complaint is that my parts are NOT just popping off. I used to do 210 initial layer with a bed temp of 60 for PLA, and even after letting cool for 1 hr the part requires significant prying and scraping to pop off. I can see how the coating may come off with parts over tjme. I'm experimenting with lowering bed temps to about 40 and it seems to help with release. Aside from that, some things to note: the bed takes significantly longer to heat than before. The screen may say it's 60, but the bed is still far from evenly 60*, give it 5 mins to even out and warm up. And make sure to adjust your Z home if you're manually leveling or you'll crash the nozzle straight into the bed on the first home. And I recommend lowering the bed temp for the first few prints, room temp or low heat seems to have PLENTY of adhesion for PLA.

The Glow-Up My Ender Needed
The Creality Ender 3 Glass Bed is the glow-up my 3D printer didn’t know it needed. Leveling is so much easier now—no more “is it sticking, is it not sticking?” guessing games. Prints grab onto the bed like they’re signing a lease, and when they’re done, they pop right off with a satisfying click. No chisels, no prayers, no voodoo—just clean prints every time. The 4mm thickness gives it a nice sturdy feel, and it heats evenly across the surface, which means no more warped bases or weird elephant foot issues. Plus, that glossy finish? It leaves the bottoms of my prints looking so smooth, they’re basically showroom-ready. Installation took all of 30 seconds—drop it on, clip it down, and boom, my Ender 3 felt like it just graduated to “pro” status. In short: smooth, sturdy, and makes printing a joy instead of a gamble. If 3D printers had a red carpet accessory, this glass bed would definitely be strutting down it.

Game changer
I've had nothing but problems with bed leveling on my Ender 3 Pro with the magnetic bed. I believe my heated bed surface (not the magnetic top but the solid bed itself) is warped, so no amount of leveling would ever result in a good print. I finally got this glass bed to try out and man what a difference it made. All I had to do to install it was clip the bed on and raise the Z-switch up to adjust for the newly increased thickness. The glass bed, instead of passing along the "warped-ness" of the solid piece underneath, created a new, flat surface for me to level. I ran a calibration print with the new bed installed and BAM, my print quality was better than it ever has been in over a year of 3d printing on the Ender. I couldn't believe how crisp they were. Adhesion is definitely different with this bed than I am used to. Once the bed cools, the print is literally no longer attached to the bed anymore it just comes right off. This is both good and bad, good for big prints, but small prints or small portions of prints will have trouble sticking. You can use glue sticks or hairspray to combat this, and clean with alcohol occasionally but I haven't gotten to that point yet. You could also use a raft if really necessary. Overall this bed was a total game changer, and fixed a warped heated surface issue I had. My prints have never been higher quality than they are now.

Great if you only print PLA
The carbon-surface bed is awesome for PLA prints-- the filament sticks beautifully with the bed at 60C, then the print pops right off at room temperature. Big improvement over the weird magnetic bed my ender-3 pro shipped with. The problem I ran into was with PETG. It also sticks to the carbon very well at high temperatures, but doesn't like to detach when the temp is lowered. In fact, it sticks so well that prying it off basically ruined the surface (it should be noted that the surface is super delicate, and can be scratched by the nozzle, spatulas, and almost anything hard), which doesn't release PLA well anymore. My solution was to flip the thing over and just use the glass as a print surface, which works fine. It's kind of an expensive glass slab though; you're probably better off just buying a fitted piece of borosilicate (pyrex) if you want to print non-PLA filaments and saving a couple bucks (if you stick to PLA by all means buy this thing, it's great!).

Took my print game to another level
As some of the comments mention you must clean the bed and this is true. I have had no adhesion problems at all. One the bed has cooled the print pops right off. Thanks creality for another amazing product.

Fantastic upgrade from the standard FR4 bed of the Ender 3.
I've always used the standard FR4 flexible plate with my Ender 3. This glass plate is much better, once the print has finished I let it cool then pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes, the prints come off with no fuss. I did have to adjust the Z height microswitch on the left of the printer so I could re-do the bed levelling, this is because the glass plate is slightly thicker than the FR4. I wish I'd have got this a long time ago.
