So recently I made some homemade New England clam chowder and I put three cans of this in the soup along with the broth and everything and I got to say that this came out rather well. If I was to price each one of these cans at the store against what I paid through Amazon this was definitely a better value for the money and also had very good quality. I can't wait to try this in a clam dip for New years but if these come out as well as the Clam chowder did I'm looking very forward to it

I've been using these clam for years in my clam chowder. It's not quite the same as the fresh clams I could get in New England, but it does mean I can have homemade clam chowder in January - worth the tradeoff. The clams have a good taste and decent texture; they're clean and not salty. These are a staple in my kitchen.

We just tried these clams in spaghetti vongole and they were great. We will switch to this brand for future orders.

these canned clams were awful... can was delivered in great shape and timely... the product was disgusting... I tried reaching out - but kept hitting brick walls... just will never try again... I tasted after chilled, with a sauce and in noodles... each try was gross... and I love clams... these were bad... not expired or damaged... just really gross/bad

Good value, especially when not available locally

BEWARE, shell pieces! I've used this brand for many years and have never had a problem. This time. There were enough shell fragments I two different servings had fragments in it and I had to throw out the rest of the clam chowder. Bumblebee won't care. They'll just tell me they have a warning on the can. With the small clams and shell fragments about the size of the clams or smaller, am I supposed to go through every single clam between my fingers? Unacceptable! The taste was good and if you are going to touch each clam to maybe put it on cracker appetizer or something then you'll probably be fine.
