Buy sell trade made fun!
I didn’t know what to expect at first with this one, because it seemed like it may be a mini LeHavre... but it is such a fun little game (I say little because it’s in a tiny package). In this game you place your worker to get resources you can sell in the market to buy property. The market is constantly fluctuating and you have to stay 3 steps ahead of the competition. Everything works great as far as game mechanics and there are so many playable characters and buildings, that you never have the same experience twice in a row. One game may offer more market fluctuations, the next may be all about gaining resources. It all depends on the businesses that come up. Overall this is a fun game that I would totally recommend to anyone... even folks who typically don’t like this type of game! Great artwork, simple easy to understand instructions. Games last 30 minutes to around an hour for 1-4 players... and on a side note, the single player game is just as enjoyable as the multiplayer!

Two thumbs up!
I love this game! My son is 8 and he can play with no problem. It has enough addition, subtraction and multiplication in there to count this as a math activity for this homeschooling family. I agree with other reviews stating the game ends too soon, especially when you are only playing with two players. You accumulate benefits for each of the buildings you purchase and the game is supposed to be over when someone has purchased their 4th building. We have played past that by a bit before deciding to be done just because it was getting late, but I could see 6 or 8 buildings be a good limit for 2 players for sure, probably good for 4 players as well. It's a fun game with great artwork and pretty relaxed play, I enjoy playing it in the evening before bed. There are some great youtube videos explaining gameplay if it's your first time playing, but the instructions are well done and it's pretty easy to pick up.

I've spent easily over 100 hours playing this game- it is without a doubt one of my favorites. Great multiplayer game, but unlike most multiplayer games it's just as good, if not better as a two player game. I love that the game is small and super fast to play making it easy to fit into any gaming session or even to pop out onto a table while grabbing something to eat at restaurant. At first the game feels a bit chaotic and confusing but with a few play throughs the strategy comes into focus and the game takes on a strong tactical feeling while still maintaining the element of surprise and variability that give it near endless replay value.I love this game so much I bought it for a friend for his birthday.

Simple to Learn and Endless Replay Enjoyment
My fiancee and I love playing games and Harbour is one of our new favorite go-to two player games. The mechanics are fairly simple and after playing the game a few times one can easily get the hang of the rules and the different symbols used. While the mechanics are fairly simple, there's so much diversity in the game play based on the building card with which you begin and the building cards drawn. Every game has been totally different, so no single strategy guarantees a win. The small size of the game makes it perfect for bringing to throw in a purse or bag and bring to a coffee shop.

OK, but not my favorite solo game
I had really high hopes when I read that this game could be played solo. It really can, but it becomes more of a puzzle than a strategy game when played solo. You play against a "training dummy" that has a predictable set of moves that will be employed quite rigidly. This adds additional layers of planning and assessment to the gameplay, but removes the reactive and changing nature of the game that may be seen when playing against another live person.I have only played a few times, and I have been favoring other games rather than replaying this one. The art is nice, the game's design isn't bad, but I have had a better time playing One Deck Dungeon, Friday and The Lost Expedition.

Harbour Review by Dad's Gaming Addiction
Harbour: 1-4 Players, Ages 8+, Average Play Time = 30-60 MinutesFirstly, I’d like to commend the game for having such a wide variety of effects and abilities. The buildings themselves each do something unique, making me think each and every turn about what I should be doing to further my goals. The player boards themselves each have unique personalities that give players special abilities, though you can opt to play with the standard characters (on the reverse side) if you want so that everyone is on equal footing.Admittedly, the market took some getting used to. You see, part of me couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that you HAD to have a minimum number of a good in order to sell it at all and that each good (no matter what it is) is worth 1 cash. It’s simply the demand for the good that changes, which in turn affects how much you HAVE to sell. For example, if the fish market token is on the “5”, then I’d need five fish before I could sell it. I expected an economy to where the prices fluctuated based on demand and a system that would allow a person be able to sell only one or two fish for the price listed, but it doesn’t work that way.The market is also extremely volatile, changing constantly at the drop of a hat. Luckily there are only four resources so the challenge here it to time your resource gathering of a specific type with when you think it’ll be in high demand. If you see your opponent about to sell stone at “5”, for example, then you know that all the resources behind it will “move up”. As such, it might be a good idea to plan ahead and gather say, livestock, so that you can cash in just as it becomes a high-valued commodity.“Harbour” is a decent resource management/timing game that is fairly enjoyable once you get used to the odd way the market handles. I think the market fluctuates too much at times, though others may enjoy this chaos and see it as yet another challenge to overcome. Everything else about “Harbour” is of good quality, making it an easy recommend for gamers who enjoy lighter resource management games.

Buen juego.
